I tried to secure a few things inside our family's cars for various purposes and none of the double sided tapes that I own survived being in a hot car for more than an hour. After being frustrated for quite some time, I thought, there are millions of others who have similar needs: an adhesive material that can hold whatever it needs to hold in cold and hot weather, especially inside a hot car on a sunny day. So here I am, searching and searching and realizing that the 3M VHB is made to be idiotically strong. So I bought these and tried it. It is holding all the things I need it to hold even when the car got to 150F for several hours. Honestly I'm quite impressed. It's a bit pricey, but it freakin works. And THAT, is what matters. It works and it's a bit more expensive than the regular stuff, but it will do what the regular stuff can't even dream of doing.

We own a motorcoach and have a problem with our windows. It’s weird how cheaply the windows were installed and they are all coming loose. They were only glued in by the manufacturer and over time the bond has come loose. We use this tape to remount the windows. We live in a tropical climate with extreme heat. Our motorcoach sits out in the sun and this tape holds even in our weather. I’ve now reordered it because we use it so much and it works!

This will not be sufficient to reattach a headset cushion to a pair of astro headset prior to the magnetic reattachable cushions. I was able to reattach it with superglue though. Does seem like a pretty good product for other purposes and the delivery within a day was right on time.

This heavy duty double sided mounting tape has worked great for installing a big shield to the hood of my wife’s vehicle. Simple installation process.

Impressive adhesion. Used this to bond a length of stainless steel trim to a kitchen vent hood. The narrow mounting flange of the trim required a strong bond without the use of hardware and the need for drilling multiple holes. The thickness of the tape was perfect for this application and essentially disappeared when the pieces were pressed together. Very pleased with the strength of the bond and ease of handling.

Good product

I purchased this for the chrome around my oven which had lifted off. When I checked, I realised that a double sided tape was used by the manufacturer and I thought that I could replace the one that had lifted up with this one. So of course I ordered the tape, removed the old one and tried this. Needless to say, it did not even stick on the chrome and glass. Money wasted. Again, the product did not work on glass or chrome. It lifted off and just did not stay on. I do not recommend you purchase this brand at all...at least not for glass or chrome.

Very strong hold. Beats drilling holes in my car to attach the teeth. So far it has withstood rain and highway speeds. Haven't run it thru the carwash yet, but so far so good
