Appears to be the OEM part as described
This was a direct replacement of the original manufacturer fan motor in my 16 year old fridge. All the numbers matched except the manufacture date. This is a great replacement for a fraction of the cost of everywhere else I looked and was able to find the part number I needed. The fridge is working great now and keeping temperature better than it has in a while, hopefully the soft ice cream issues we've been having are done with now installation was simple enough, I only needed a philips screwdriver and a pair of pliers. The fan is just as quiet as it was with the original motor working.

Samsung refrigerator fan motor
This was an exact replacement motor to the original one I replaced. Worked perfectly. I would recommend. I knew the original motor had stopped working because freezer temp was perfect and fridge temp was getting warmer. No air circulation in the fridge. I would recommend.

Making lots of noise
A perfect fit for my Samsung. Delivery was quick and no complaints. However, this thing makes a significant noise when running. Much more than the original fan. Almost sounds like metal on metal. I didn't have a choice, but to install it because the original fan stopped working completely. Hope it will last, but not holding my breath

Samsung DA31-00146B Evaporator Fan Motor Replacement Is An Exceptional Purchase
I purchased this Samsung DA31-00146B Evaporator Fan Motor Replacement for my Samsung AARF307 Refrigerator to replace the original fan motor. Most sales facilities wants to sell you the fan housing as well as the fan motor and fan blade at approximately $185 US dollars on average. I paid less than $20 US dollars to do the exact same job getting my refrigerator working perfectly. Just remove the fan blade from the fan motor and the fan motor from the fan housing. Reverse the procedure and you're back up and running. It is very quiet and does the job to perfection.
