Good decaf
I was disappointed. I expected it to have a stronger coffee taste. When I opened the bag, the aroma was wonderful. It had a strong aroma, but lost that aroma as I was pouring the water over the coffee to make the coffee via the pour over method. The final product was a weak tasting coffee, although I felt I used plenty of grounds. I am going to try to fine tune it and put more grounds next time and adjust this review accordingly. 1/23/26. After I submitted this review, the seller contacted me and offered a refund. They gave me some tips for making the coffee using the pour over method, as that is the method i use for making coffee. I followed the tips and the flavor came through. As far as decaf goes, this is the best tasting out there and it’s decaffeinated via the Swiss water method. Which is a healthy choice. I have changed my rating from a three star to a five star.

Rich. Smooth. Clean. So worth it!
10/5! I’ve tried many organic decaf brands and they’ve all been tolerable, but I’ve felt like I had to settle. The low-acid ones weren’t strong enough. They didn’t really taste like coffee. I have a condition that is aggravated by mold, so my doctor has me exercise caution with coffee. I read this one has been tested by an independent lab and it was found to have no mold, toxins, heavy metals…nothing. Man, I feel like I’m in heaven! No reaction to it at all!!! As others have said, it’s smooth. And rich. And dreamy. Is it expensive? Yes!!! I bought one and liked it so much I subscribed. It’s worth it. It costs money to produce something of this quality. They go the extra mile. Thank you, Lifeboost for your integrity and transparency.

Nice flavor but a bit bitter
The coffee has a pleasant aroma and rich body. I wish it came in a larger bag for daily use. The taste is slightly more bitter than I expected from this blend. It’s still smooth overall but not as gentle as some other low-acid options. The quality feels good and the freshness is consistent. It’s a nice choice if you want a clean decaf with a strong flavor profile.

Smooth and rich taste
I am a coffee connoisseur who recently quit it because of the caffeine. I last a week, now I found a compromise, decaf coffee :)). This coffee is very very smooth and has rich taste. I wish the price is lower, still worth it to me. Highly recommend!

Why no "swiss water" claim on the package itself?
I bought this expensive coffee expressly because in the product description it touts the "swiss water" decaffeinating process (both in the headline description and in a more detailed paragraph below that). The other aspects (no pesticides, low acid etc.) are fine, but the main feature I wanted was that it not be decaffeinated with chemicals, like nearly all other decaf. I have not opened the package yet so I can't say how it tastes (debating whether to return) but I had to give it a "star" rating or my review wouldn't go through. I just do not understand why it does not mention the "swiss water" decaffeination process AT ALL on the package. I would think that would be a major selling point. Could it be, like certain other products I've bought on Amazon, that the sales pitch doesn't match what you actually get? Like you order "100% cotton flannel pajamas," and they arrive half polyester. Or you order a food product that lists one country of origin on the site, and it arrives with a label from an entirely different country. I can't imagine that Lifeboost would NOT want to tout the "swiss water" thing on their package, because to me it's a biggie, so I'm left thinking of all the reasons they might not, including that it's decaffeinated with chemicals after all. I hope Lifeboost reads this and starts adding that designation RIGHT ON THE PACKAGE if it's true, or else removes the claim from the description on the Amazon website.

Great tasting coffee without toxic ingredients. Love the freshness, organic and smooth tasting. It does not cause me GI problems. I will continue to buy!

This review is from my husband. I only drink decaf as my stomach just can't handle caffeine. But even most decafs I've tried upset my stomach, and/or give me acid buildup in my throat - or just don't taste very good. I also care about the decaf process used. So I was on the hunt for a decaf that met all these criteria: - no stomach upset - no acid buildup in throat - either Swiss water or natural (not synthetic) EA decaf process - great taste I have tried so many decafs and wasted money on some where I had to end up throwing them out due to stomach or acid issues, and was about to throw in the towel. But then, I discovered Lifeboost and decided to try their medium roast Swiss water decaf. Have been having it for a few days now and OMG... this one checks *all* the boxes! Not only have I had zero stomach upset or acid issues, but this decaf tastes absolutely amazing. Clean, flavorful, smooth - just perfect, either on its own or with my Torani syrup of choice (usually sugar free salted caramel or peppermint). Very reasonably priced too vs. other brands. Also, when I called to ask a question to their customer support the help I received was exceptional. This company really seems to care about the quality of their coffees and their customers' satisfaction. I realize that taste is a very personal thing but was surprised to see *only* a 4.2/5 rating for this product here on Amazon. Even on taste alone it's a 5 in my book, but along with all the other factors I'd give it a 10 if I could. If you're on the fence, try it -- I don't think you'll be disappointed.

As a long time sufferer of GERD and LPR, this is the first coffee I can drink without any issues. The taste is full bodied and delicious. I highly recommend.

Before buying, I thought I would buy a good coffee from a good brand. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm turned into disappointment after the first time I brewed the coffee, and I realized it wasn't what I wanted. It lacks the aroma of coffee and doesn't give you the sensation of drinking it. It is like brewing a medicinal herb and drinking it to cure an illness.

Cheaper than the low acid coffee I used to buy but just as delicious.
