I used the poles to put a sun shade over my garden area. They worked great. If using the foot that you put into the ground, make sure to use a block of wood or the like when pounding into the ground. The material is soft and will bend.

The height is great but be careful about long spans as the weight will pull the poles towards each other and make the poles look like they are sagging. The vendor recommended driving rebar into the ground to help support the poles but it does not help with the sagging. If you put too much strain on the connectors, they will snap

We bought these a while ago (bought 3 in total) and installed them on the deck. They’re just not strong enough to hold the lights and everything is sagging. It’s a bummer. I hired a professional to do it and he warned me they didn’t look strong enough but the description said they are light posts and the lights I’m using are the same lights. Now I’ll have to pay to uninstall and find another option. Very disappointing.

Not worth the money , one came with dents and one pole is bent already and both poles not at all sturdy .Had to update review- outstanding customer service from this Amazon seller . Very helpful in returning product even after keeping it for more than a month .
