Great for iPad Air
I really like this stylus. I have the iPad Air and this stylus is great for note taking on the GoodNotes app. I also like the fact that it has an ink pen at the other end. I can sign or write whatever I need to write on paper with the ink pen. This is a good stylus and it works perfect with my iPad Air. It's also more precise than most stylus with the wide tip.

I recommend buying a package of tips because when they need ...
I have been using this stylus for about 2 years now. I opted for the Jot because I needed to take more detailed notes than what the Bamboo stylus (with rubber tip) would allow (engineering classes). It has worked superbly. I have had to buy one extra pack of tips, and still have one new one left in the package. That means that in 2 years, I am on my 3rd tip, though I only lost 2nd one. I recommend buying a package of tips because when they need to be changed, they stop working almost immediately. This first time I had to wait a couple days to change tips. Great stylus!

Great idea - let down by disappointing performance
These pens are a great idea. Using these styluses for writing on the ipad is initially a wonderful experience. Unfortunately after several days usage they start to skip and will no longer write as smoothly (I have two adonit jots and they both have the same problem). After checking online I see this is a common problem and there are a number of solutions suggested. Considering the price, however, I would expect it not to require the suggested interventions.

A piece of junk!
A piece of junk. Tried to write something intelligent, just made it more dumb with illegible writings. Skipping letters that made words looked like doctor's writings. Double confirmed it with all my ten fingers and toes just to make sure it was not stylus's fault, but it was. Tried drawing and success was only made when you have to zoom in like 300% and scribble on it. Not success making it look like picasso, but one that would make any caveman or one year old cringe with disgust. Just get a real digitizer machine like ipad, samsung, surface 3 pro or wacom. Save your money, time and trash bin space. The only god saving grace for this stylus was probably the pen. That works and i should rightfully awarded it with one star........ Not that i can award it any lower though. Damn!

Very nice stylus.
I really like this stylus as it enables you to write using a fine tip for your tablet. The grip is made from a cushy neoprene like material and the pen has a nice weight to it. It definitely doesn't feel cheaply made. I haven't tried to replace the ink for the pen, so I'm not sure how difficult that is because the instructions that came with it were minimal. The tip is a small flat metal disc surrounded by clear plastic that fools your screen into thinking the stylus is a finger. Since it is metal it does make a tapping sound on the glass, but it is not much louder than the clicking of a keyboard. The only drawback is the discs come off, not terribly easily, but easy enough that you could lose it, rending the stylus useless. Fortunately replacement discs are also available on amazon and are not very expensive. I am a casual user, so it was perfect for me.

Must-have for artists, but...
This is the best stylus on the market for accurate fine line use on iDevices, however, it is a bit finicky. I had to throw out my Zagg Shield screen protector (the one that comes with a lifetime warranty) because the tip sticks to that protector. So I bought a cheap glossy protector for my iPhone and my iPad Mini, but I must have gotten a small piece of dirt between my iPhone and the stylus because the protector got all scratched up the same morning I put it on. Same with the second protector. For some reason, I've had no problem with it on my iPad Mini... Even so, I'd still highly recommend this to anyone that does artwork on an iDevice.

Stylus skips due to limited range of motion
I purchased the Adonit Jot Flip through Amazon. It is a really nice stylus, but one flaw made me decide to return it. The ink pen side of the Jot Flip is excellent. The tip is very small (extra fine point?) but it writes incredibly well. While I was unhappy with the stylus side of the Jot Flip, I kept wishing I could keep it because I enjoyed using the ink pen side so much! The Stylus does not allow a person to tilt the stylus of the Jot Flip at angles much past 45 degrees when writing on a tablet. If you lean the stylus further, the disc at the bottom lifts a little and loses contact with the tablet's surface. Depending on the way you hold the pen, this may not cause a problem for you. The Adonit Jot Flip is really well constructed and I am really sad to have to return it. My friend has the Musemee Notier V2 stylus, and I had tried it previously. It works ten times better than the Jot Flip stylus but it has no pen, nor even a pocket clip. The Musemee's weighting is a little nicer than the Jot Flip's, but the lack of clip and ink pen is what finally steered me to purchase the Jot Flip. Now, because of frequent skipping on my tablet, it appears I will be making a U-turn back towards the Musemee Notier V2. It's sad really. The Adonit is a much better looking stylus, and far more equipped to be the useful tool for everyday tasks. I would much rather have the Jot Flip than the stripped down Notier. But since writing is the issue, the Notier is going to have to do. Maybe they will improve their design in the future? Hopefully.

precicion stylus for capacitive screens
This stylus is great for anyone using a tablet with a capacitive screen (ipad, samsung, nook HD) and wants to have precision line work or selection. It has a clear plastic tip on a ball pivot that allows you to see exactly where you are making contact with the screen. it has a little bit of "give" built into it. This improves the feel dramatically over any solid stick stylus. Extra points for delivering it next day via Amazon prime! My daughters commandeered my first one so I had to order another. They use drawing programs on the tablet and LOVE it too.

This is a great pen, and a real eye-catcher when used in a business setting. I use it with all my touchscreen devices: my Surface Pro 3, my Galaxy Note 8 and my Blackberry Passport. I got it for the touchscreen use, but surprisingly, I love it as a pen more. Twisting the barrel makes the pen nib rise up out of the barrel in a two-stage process that people find fascinating. Its a real ice-breaker in a meeting. The company advertising/website images don't do this pen justice.

After researching iPhone styli (as best one can without buying every stylus) I came across Adonit. They do a whole range of styli but I plumped for this one. The main reasons for me were the pen clip (simple, I know, but amazing how many don't have a pocket clip) and the spring loaded stylus. (See their website at Adonit.net to see what I mean by this. BTW, it's not clear from the description here, but the pen side of the item is retractable. Very useful when you only get one lid for a double ended pen! The pen itself is metal and feels weighty and solid in the hand (in a good way). There is a rubberised section half way to improve grip. The action is smooth and pretty accurate on my iPhone screen and you can see through the plastic tip to view what you're writing. Then ink pen is actually very fine and I've gotten to like that too (being normally a biro user). Experiences across the net are of people losing the plastic tips from Adonit styli. I can't comment on this as yet - mine is in tact. But I'm treating it with kid gloves just in case. So far a big thumbs up from me.

Unique & useful product
