MADDesign Mother of Pearl Makeup Compact Mirror Dual Folding Magnify Apricot Flower Butterfly

This is a very pretty compact. I would have preferred a plain back instead of the logo—the logo definitely detracts from the beauty and elegance of this compact.

I will buy other mirrors (for myself and as gifts) from this company. Be aware that the Apricot Flower Butterfly colors are more muted in real life. I worried that it would look like fake plastic mother of pearl, but it looks luxurious. It is not mother of pearl on both sides but the design on the silver side is nice enough to be mistaken as the front.

I purchase for my make up bag and for traveling. It’s very pretty and has been a great addition to my routine. I would purchase again.

I think this compact would probably be serviceable, but it is not as pretty in person as it appears in the pictures and video. I am returning it, as I was looking for something that was prettier and more impressive than this compact is.

The mirror was absolutely beautiful. I had been looking for a fully rounded compact. I had been expecting the top to be fully rounded with resin. As in the picture you see the really nice translucent effect giving depth. This does not translate in person and is all lighting. The height was about half of what I expected. The image on the mirror top seemed to be more of a decal and doesn’t have the same personality. While the product is still beautiful, the image makes it seem like the flowers are also part of the resin mold and in all actuality are a sticker with resin poured on top.

It came in just in time for me to give for my moms birthday. The design is beautiful and of good quality. I would recommend this for anyone that want to give this as a present.
