Great book!
I brought this for my 10 year old brother (who is very smart) and he thought the book was super easy!So if your child is very good at maths; I would get a older maths book for himself.

Help with maths
I ordered this for my son who is struggling with his maths. He doesn't like to study so this 5 minutes a day book has made it fun and he's stuck to it. His maths has definitely improved so I'm pleased with this book.

A bit bland
This book does what it says on the cover. It contains maths sums in 5 minute test format that get progressively harder plus a 'challenge' section to stretch children. Good for an on target 9-10 year old (Year 5) but won't stretch an able child of the same age. My almost 8 year old found it to be rather simple and a bit boring.

Great practice book
I usually use Bond books but have found that the Lett books are also really good:- essentially one page of maths tasks per day- broken up into 3 sections - Warm-up, Rapid calculation, Challenge- each section has a target time to complete- nicely laid out- covers a range of mathematical principals incl. multiplication, division, fractions, measurements, etc.Overall I thought this was an excellent practice resource.

Great books
My 8 year old daughter enjoys maths and these are a bit of fun for her and good practice! What she doesn't understand we teach and go through it with her.
