These are freeze dried to insure an excellent quality , nutritional product. Its an great value for the money. I have given cans of this, & several others of their product to friends of mine. They love them.

I admit, it takes getting used to. I put it out in a bowl and grab handfuls throughout the day. Right out of the can with no preparation it has a similar mouth feel as popcorn. It has a mild broccoli flavor. It’s great for a long drive. The only issue is the flowerettes between your teeth when you reach your destination. I’ve not tried rehydrating. So far, I prefer it right outta the can.

I love broccoli. Always have. I used to get it frozen, but there’s never really enough freezer space. I grow my own, fresh, as seasons allow. Anyway, this is another option. Doesn’t require a freezer. And it’s easy, always-available broccoli when I want it, which is often enough. Cooks up and rehydrates very quickly. Tastes like broccoli. The cans feel very light, so you think they aren’t full. But they are full, to the brim. Just feel very light without the moisture in them. For long term food storage, for an emergency, this is a good choice of vegetable. I don’t wait for an emergency.

I bought this shelf stable broccoli for our boating trips. I added them to suppers when I could mix them in with a sauce appropriate for the meal. They were easy to use, and I look forward to the green peas that I also purchased.

Probably most of us know that broccoli is really healthy. I add the broccoli to smoothies, to yogurt, and (for some added crunch and nutritional value) to salads, rice, soups (better than croutons), and virtually everything else. If you're a commuter who brings lunch with you, it's lightweight, takes up little space, and packs the same nutritional power.It's made me a fan of a whole bunch of Nutristore products. Though it seemed pricey at first, a can of these vegetables actually in freeze-dried form actually contains a whole lot of broccoli (or strawberries, raspberries, etc.). I find it much easier to enhance a meal's or snack's nutritional impact with these products.
