I Highly Recommend These Quality Markers with Excellent Customer Service
With hopes of finally organizing (ha!) I tried three different kinds of chalkboard labels and chalk markers. These were the best markers of the bunch. The customer service was SPECTACULAR. I had a small issue and within a few days of my e-mailing them, a whole new set was at my door (even though I did not specifically request that). I couldn't be happier with these markers.Pros:1. Easy to get the ink started. I pressed the tip in to break the air pressure, shook it really well, and then pressed in the tip and held it in with the business end ponting downward for maybe 30 seconds, and then pressed it in and out on a piece of cardboard a few times, and it was good to go. Total time less than one minute. Subsequent usage required no priming. I am left-handed so smudge factor is always high but these were good even for me. The ink flows nicely, not too wet.2. Double ended writing tip. Pull it out and turn it around for chisel nib or rounded nib. It's not that messy to change them around mid-project. The nib is sturdy and has stood up to my moderate usage. See photo.3. They erased easily and thoroughly. Wipe it with a wet paper towel to get the ink off and then dry it with a dry paper towel to remove any "ghost" images. Drying is the key to no ghosts. These markers were the only ones I tried that left no discernable trace whatsoever. See photo.4. The CAPS are AWESOME! I have included pictures of the caps. The pink cap is a standard marker cap. The orange cap is Cedar Chalk's cap. This is a huge deal to me because with most markers, you have to hit the center of the cap just right to get it on properly. Otherwise it will not close tightly and dry out on you. Also, you inevitably end up shredding the marker tip. These caps were smooth and funnel-shaped. They slid right onto the tip and clicked closed without any damage to the nib. This is a great saver of time and money since you don't have to stop mid-project and devote your full attention each time you want to cap a marker. They close securely to prevent drying out. And your nib stays nice and pointy. See photo.5. The colors are bright which not only look good but also make for easy reading in the depths of my cabinets. I have used every color and am very pleased with the results. See photo.6. They are versatile. You could use them on paper or cardboard but I think that would shorten their life. But for a posterboard type sign in a pinch or last minute school projects, they will get the job done. They are flowing-ink paint-like markers so they have the expected mess factor and younger kiddos would need supervision. I managed without getting any on myself so they are not by any means exceptionally messy. ondensation will make them run (since they are designed to wipe clean with water).8. They work well on a variety of non-porous surfaces. I tried them on my fridge and they wrote fine and the ink came off easily and completely using only water. I have a standard issue Kenmore fridge with a slightly textured surface. It is white so any trace ink would have been visible. See photo. I used on a clear plastic Sterilite tote with the same results. See photo.7. They came with 40 free labels. Value. Yay.Neutral:1. The ink took about 7 minutes to fully dry on the label for no smudging. For me this is neither here nor there. I wrote on my labels and let the ink dry before peeling them off of the sheet for application.2. The labels were all different sizes. Maybe you like this, I prefer uniformity in my labeling but that's just me. And they were free so, no complaints here.3. They are flowing-ink paint-like markers so they have the expected mess factor and younger kiddos would need supervision. I managed without getting any on myself so they are not by any means exceptionally messy.Cons:1. The silver and gold are not erasable. To be fair, this is stated on a sticker inside the lid and I knew this before ordering based on a previous review. I am only listing it as a con because it is not clear in the description. Please Note: They are not for old-school chalkboards for which you use regular chalk and will not erase from any porous surface. I don't think they would be good for chalkboard-painted surfaces either but I cannot be certain. They mostly came out of a dishrag with Shout and bleach. If you are looking for markers to use on chalkboard labels, glass, mirrors, or similar non-porous surfaces I highly recommend these markers. They were, by far, the best of the three I tried.I am a simply a regular Amazon customer who paid full price and whose only motivation is to help you decide before you spend your hard-earned money. Thank you to other genuine reviews who have helped me with the same.

great markers!
I bought these for use with ULTNICE Chalkboard Sign Double-Sided Message Board with Hanging String - 2 Pack and they worked perfectly. I appreciated the instructions for using chalk markers that were sent by e-mail with my purchase. It takes a little bit of effort to activate the markers the first time, but after that they are quick and easy to use, and the colors are vibrant. Having both a chisel and a round tip in one marker is space saving and convenient, and the included tweezers work great for switching the tips, though I do usually pull the tip out, drop it on a tissue, and pick it back up with the tweezers to put it in the other way. The free chalk labels have come in handy too. They are a bit harder to erase than a regular chalkboard if you leave the markers on them for longer, but very easy to erase and dry if you make a mistake and want to fix it immediately. The colors are basically true to the cap colors. I used one of the chalkboards for a classroom sign, and after about a month, none of the marker has been scratched off or faded.

Amazing
These chalkboard markers are amazing! The variety of color is great! I use them every month for my wall calendar. The red is slightly hard to see on the chalkboard but that may be due to low lighting in the area of the calendar. The gold is a little hard to get off the chalkboard, but a little water and elbow grease did the trick. Once I clean the calendar, I coat my board in white chalk before drawing the next month on there. I would purchase these again!

Product Good; Emails Annoying
Update: this company sent me a THIRD email. So exhaustingly annoying. They hope I'm "enjoying my markers." Stop it already! This is a two-pronged review: the product and the emails. Starting with the product, the markers did exactly what I needed. I wrote on a chalkboard and sprayed with hairspray to make it "permanent." Out of the 12 colors, I used 11, and 10 worked really well. One color didn't feel like it had enough "paint" in it, but it didn't bother me too much. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the gold color almost came dripping out. Whatevs. Now, the emails. Shortly after I ordered, I received an email from the company (not Amazon--but the actual company that makes the markers). It felt awkward--it was an email to make sure I followed the usage directions. It almost felt like the 21st century equivalent of a busy body shopkeeper following you around the store to make sure you use their product right. My package came, then I did my craft, packed up the markers, and stored them in in my closet. Then the second email came. With more (the same) instructions making sure I used the markers correctly and do I have any questions? Honestly, I felt like it was overkill. If you think I'm being nitpicky, imagine getting two emails for every product you've ordered on Amazon. Annoyed yet? I thought so. So was I. I specifically shop on Amazon so I don't have to make human contact and be bothered by associates. If I have a problem, I'll let you know. TL;DR--product was quite good, but the emails were annoying.

Like the colour variety
Works well after you get the liquid flowing. It does take some time to hold the pen down for the ink to get absorbed in the tip before you can start using it. I like that it has a thin and thick tip option for writing and drawing. Used it for a chalk banner and it turned it great. Like the diff colour options even tho I would have preferred two white colour chalk pens since white is the typically chalk colour. Also like that it gave labels which is a good bonus.

Worked great - I have a few chalkboard peel and stick ...
Worked great - I have a few chalkboard peel and stick surfaces on my walls as well as a full chalkboard painted onto one accent wall and these chalk markers are heavenly. Easy to use, great colours, wipe off both surfaces very easily with some water.

Started out great, then wasn't working however company is sending me new markers.
When I first got these chalk pens I was super happy with them however after using them for a couple of months I am no longer as thrilled. A few colours allready seem to be dried out even though they are colours I've barely used. Another problem I've had is a few of the pens tend to get stuck when you push it in for more ink... this causes the pens to bleed all over the chalk board and my hands until I pull th pen tip back out. They do erase better then the last chalk pens I purchased leaving less ghosting which is nice. Overall I am still on the hunt for good chalk pens.Edit: excellent customer service. the company has contacted me and says they have changed the formula of the markers and they are sending me the new and improved markers.
