Just What I Needed
Perfect for a Pilot Custom. Worked great and holds a lot more ink than other piston converters.

Just what I needed
Fits my Pilot 80th Anniversary Shijin fountain pen perfectly while other con-70 converters used by my other pens have a slightly loose fit. The black colored Con-70s are also a bit harder to come by as they're normally included with Pilot maki-e/urushi Pens and aren't commonly sold separately.

Good converter, Bad for Arthritis
This converter is a smart little thing. It takes some practice to use as it needs fast and somewhat decisive pumping of the little button at the top to get ink into it. The one that I had received have a very stubborn spring, meaning I had to use a lot of force to press the button. Those with arthritis and similar hand conditions may want to steer clear of this. Other than that though I love the capacity of the converter as one filling could last me about a month while the Con-40 converter could last maybe 2-3 weeks (I use the pen quite a lot so using it for a month without refilling is AMAZING).

Good but get a pen syringe to fill it all the way
Fits my Falcon no problem. I use a syringe to fill so to fill it completely and not muddy my ink. I recommend those. Amazon carries them. They’re particularly useful with this converter as the twist mechanism doesn’t form as tight a vacuum as the bladder or pull type so you won’t get as much ink if you just rely on this. This forms a tight seal. It doesn’t leak even if I drop it. It’s exactly what I was looking for.

Great item
I purchased this for my pilot kakuno, this converter fits well in it. I'll mention it changes the center of mass, for me this wasn't an issue. This also doesn't fit in every pilot pen.

It's unfortunate
By the item description, I was buying a brand new replacement black Pilot CON-70. Unfortunately, the nib arrived with the remnant of some type of a clear fluid in it.

It's hard to fill at first.
This converter can hold a lot of ink but it's a bit hard to fill and it worries me a little. Filling this thing requires pressing the button fast so the rubber thing blocks the ink and the air at the top gets expelled through the metal tube that's in the middle of the converter. And I fear that I might damage the nib if this thing slips from my hand while I'm filling the pen.

There seems to be some confusion about whether this converter works with the Pilot Kaküna. It does. I have a clear pen and it fits perfectly. I use it most often in my white barrelled Kaküna with a purple lid. I can’t speak to older models, but for these two pens purchased in 2019, it works. (I’ve read that the pen was retooled in the last few years and that older pens are smaller.) Phenomenal ink capacity. If you’re one of those pen owners who likes to change up their ink all the time, this might not be for you—it lasts a LONG time. But if you want to be able to rely on having ink while you’re out and about, the CON70 is great.

パッと見た目は、黒と銀の塗り分けと、みました。 透明部分が黒の方が多々くすんでいる感じがしました。
