JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Part 2--Battle Tendency, Vol. 3

Most impressive thing is the quality of the book itself. Feels great to hold, smells good, has a couple beautiful color pages, and the art is distinct from other manga creators. Easy recommend.

Just as the title for this review says, I love Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, so I'm biased. I live the story and the quality of the manga. The book itself came in undamaged and clean with no problems. I'm happy to have another volume added to my collection! 😋

*SPOILERS* Prepare to cry. This one is a wild ride of emotions. So, I was totally not prepared for the art style! I had only seen the anime at this point. I didn't recognize Lisa Lisa! XD I read the part where Joseph peeps on Lisa Lisa and all I saw was this chick and I was so confused. Caesar looks great! But then again, all the Zeppelis look great. ;) So, some of this is in color. It's more like a color wash? (Artists know what I mean. Basically its when you take one color and just use varying shades of it.) It's all red. Just various shades of red for 2 or 3 chunks of 5 or so pages. What got me though, was that *HUGE SPOILER* Caesar's Death was in color! Oh man I was so sad. Also, the back has Skinny Whammu and that was a scary image. I looked at it trying to comprehend just who this character was until I saw the name in small print underneath and I nearly screamed. It came out more like a pathetic shriek with a couple of squeaks and a gasp somewhere in the mix... but it did scare my cat. Aaaannyywwwaaaayyyyssss.... Yeah. Skinny Whammu. Wow. Scary. Seriously. It doesn't even look good. It's just... "meh." but in a scary way. and I thought the GI Joe[star] version of him was scary (aka the anime/original version). This was... a whole new league. I also appreciate it that Caesar (#1 Bubble Buddy) is on one side and Whammu is on the other. So perfect.

They had done the zeppeli so dirty like Jesus man wamuu didn't have to do that to his......BTW no part 2 vol 1 or 4 got them in store

Araki's ability to create a bizarre narative coupled with his dynamic artwork amazes me everytime. He drew each frame himself, week after week, hour after hour. Rohan Kishibe in the flesh.

En resumen el manga venía en excelentes condiciones, no poseía rasguño alguno o marcas de uso o mal cuidado, ligeras manchas de la grasa de los dedos, pero nada que no se pudiera quitar limpiando con un trapo seco. A pesar del precio, vale la pena sin dudarlo.

Impresionante como todos los demas, con paginas a clor tal y como aparecieron en su primera publicacion y con un tamaño que hara las delicias de todos los fans de jojo. Esta version de jojo's bizarre adventire está basada en jojonium y la publicacion es casi identica a la japonesa, por lo que se espera que saquen la parte 3 stardust crusaders completa y ahi paren, la parte 4 no está en version jojonium y por lo tanto no creo que vizmedia se la invente. Compra obligada para fans!
