Classic look, nostalgic sound
This radio has a beautiful vintage look and works great. The sound quality is clear and has a very nostalgic feel, which I really love. It also has Bluetooth, which is a nice bonus and makes it easy to play music from my phone. It picks up AM/FM stations well and feels solid and well made. Portable, easy to use, and perfect as both a functional radio and a decor piece.

Vintage look; modern functionality. Perfect for Grand Ol Opry nights!
My husband and I were watching old Grand Ol' Opry shows on YouTube. It's been 60 years since I went to the Opry at age 5. In those days, it was held in the Ryman, and country greats like Loretta Lynn, performed. It made me research whether they still broadcast on Fridays and Saturdays (yes, they do on AM 650). It's America's longest running radio broadcast. I thought it would be fun to play it on a vintage radio. Of course, you need reception and here in the WV mountains, that can be tough. Then, I got the idea of playing it on my phone on iHeart radio, and sending it by Bluetooth to a radio. I started searching. I almost bought another, more expensive retro radio, until I found out that the rotary dial didn't light up. This is a MUST HAVE feature for a retro radio! The old radios all back-lit their dials!!! If you want a retro experience, it's not optional. I'm glad to report that not only does the dial light up, it's a warm white light and not the daylight violet light that apparently Prunus used a couple of years ago (perish the thought). The radio is the perfect size to sit on the mantle. The speaker is very clear and articulate. This is a radio, not a stereo, so remember that when you listen to it. As many have mentioned, the volume knob is sensitive. However, if you're using Bluetooth, you can control the volume by phone. Situation rectified! I had no problems picking up local am and fm channels loud and clear. The vintage aestetics paired with the equally vintage live Grand Ol' Opry, is the perfect evening of nostalgia.

Doesn’t look cheap but sounds it
It’s cute and easy to bring places! The speaker quality could be better. I’m usually not particular about speaker quality and you can only expect so much from a small device. That said, I have Bluetooth speakers that are smaller than this (and water proof) for a similar amount of money, that sound worlds better. It’s unfortunate that with the retro aesthetic the quality is sacrificed. The look and feel is great though. I still love bringing it to the beach or the drive-in, but unless you want to listen at a low/medium volume, I avoid using it when I’m home. I even have a cheap 15 dollar 3 inch speaker that sounds better at high volume than this so kind of a let down. I love the look so much that I’m still happy with it. It’s only rough when you pass a certain volume threshold and in contrast it does get pretty loud so that’s nice for outdoors. I’ve only had it for a couple months but I’ve used it for many many hours before needing to charge it (don’t know exact hours but upwards of 12). The long lasting charge is part of why I still think it’s worth it. My tiny speaker has to be charged after every party/outing this one keeps going. You can grab it on the go and not worry if it’s going to die because you forgot to charge etc.

Small but mighty radio
Such a fun little vintage inspired radio. Looks so cute sitting on my kitchen counter. The size is small and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Has a good speaker and the sound is clear.

Great radio
The radio is of nice quality. The volume button goes from nothing to the perfect volume so I’m really not able to turn it down softer but that’s ok. I struggle with the reception as there are so many radio stations in the area they are almost on top of each other. The size is smaller than I thought but it’s actually perfect. You can easily move it around and place it where you want with ease. You can charge it up and doesn’t need batteries which I love. It has a battery compartment but isn’t needed if you keep it charged which I still haven’t had to recharge it again, yet.

Adorable with some caveats
I was actually about to write a positive review when this sweet little retro radio, that arrived pre-charged, conveniently died. I reached for the included AC power cord to charge it but after a few minutes I realized that it was not charging as the charging indicator did not light up. There is also a DC 5V cord included that did successfully charge via USB but it was not my preferred method of charging. I tried calling the number included to reach customer service but was unable to reach anyone or leave any sort of message. As others have mentioned, the volume dial is SENSITIVE and gets loud very quickly. I certainly wish there was more range on the low end of the volume but I can still work with it, especially when using Bluetooth and can adjust volume from another device. As for the radio, there are many stations that come through crystal clear, but of course, not the few stations I want to listen to. I have also not found that adjusting the antenna does anything for the clarity, but I do recognize that my location and surrounding devices may play a part in that. It still makes an incredibly adorable, retro-style Bluetooth speaker that I intend on utilizing often but I am definitely disappointed in the lack of radio clarity and AC charging capability.

Great camp radio.
We have this in our cabin in the woods (our camp). It’s not the best BUT it’s great for us. The tie-ins with Bluetooth, iPod and straight up radio are all we need. And the price is great. Now the volume is limited but again, I’m not throwing a party with it. Simple and sweet!

Perfect solution with a great retro look.
Expectations Met. I got tired of always having to recharge my other portable radio's battery so I wanted a corded radio. Only drawback is a touchy control dial when trying to set the lowest volume. It has a quite powerful output and good reception in my basement work shop.

I like the bt feature and the rechargeable backup power. The low end of the volume is small and it gets loud very early on the dial but the sound is clear and crisp, exactly what I want to hear the news. The bluetooth feature is easy to use and connects to each different device I have. I haven't tested the rechargeable battery for any length of time but it came fully charged and it does work. The tuning knob has nice smooth action and it lights up with a nice warm glow. Despite it's small size, people notice it and comment how cute my Retro radio is! I really like it too!

Beau radio.
