I really don't enjoy retractable leads, find them so clunky. So, this biothane long line has been perfect. Stronger than it looks, light to carry, and great for recall training!love the bright orange colour aswell so it keeps both us and other walkers safe from snaps and trips.

Lead is exactly as described! Super bright so is easily seen and seems strong! Time will tell as it was only the first outing today with a bouncy puppy. Easy to clean though and the clasp is very secure. Will definitely buy another if and when I need too

Great long line and easy to clean. Fairly comfortable to hold especially if they get to the end and pull however not very easy to get in and if wet can’t stand on it to stop as gets very slippery.

As a dog walker, I find it hard to find a long line that actually lasts. I often find tears in them after maybe 20 or so uses. So far this one has held up brilliantly.The handle is your bog standard level of comfort, however it does have a small black tag on it, making it easy to find if you’ve tangled the line! Great idea.The lead is a good length for what I use it for, however you may opt for a longer lead if using for recall training.The bag is also really useful, it has a handle which I attach to my bag, but also a velcro strap to ensure you can put it away, fastened up, preventing tangling in the bag.Brilliant lead, great value for money, hopefully it lasts longer than the others!

My last long line basically needed to be washed everyday so I was recommended to get a biothane one. This does not appear to be biothane.Pros: easy to wash, easy to reel up, good length, great colour, currently holding up to a determined working cocker spaniel (so a strong dog, but not a massive one), and it has a lock over the carabiner making it a bit more secureCons: not biothane, it already has two knots that I cannot get out, it has clipped off my dog's harness more than once when it wasn't locked (it's a manual process, so if you ever forget, you're at risk) and it gets caught on a lot of things, similar to the other long line, so I'm constantly clipping it on and off to untangle in the woods.If you've been recommended a biothane long lead and can afford a better one - I suggest looking around for one that is better quality - I've seen some great ones that don't tangle or knot - I wish I knew there was a difference when I bought this!This one is fine though, much better than the nylon leads, but still not the best.

Firstly, you need to sponsor the dog walker on tiktok who is posting about these leads, in case you're wondering why sales have gone up!I've got a teckel who can be let off, but only in select places. While the other dogs run free, she has to either not go with , or be on a long line..This lead is bright orange so you can just step on it if you need to. Run it under the tap and it's clean in seconds.. the clip onto the dog is large, chunky and sturdy. The lead does exactly what it says... doesn't tangle and is water proof (it's a kind of flexible plastic/rubber feel to it)My dog is 2 and half and I wish I'd come across this lead years ago.Lead comes with an inbuilt strap in the Carry pouch making it easy to wrap up, fold away and keep tidy.Cannot recommend this lead enough!!!!!

It’s begun to split in half after less than a month use!!! Not a strong alternative to a normal lead it’s only positive is it drys easier. I have a cheaper alternative and it’s outlasted this lead. The lack of texture for easy cleaning make the lead prone to rope burns as well which the cheaper version has a texture to avoid this. Very poor product with money spent on advertising not product research. AVOID THIS PRODUCT

Was a bit worried about the quality after seeing some negative reviews but all seems good so far. The lead has a nice hand loop on one end and the carabiner-style clip on the other seems strong although can be a bit fiddly to attach sometimes. The lead itself is a rubbery feeling material that slides nicely through the hand and doesn’t pick up lots of dirt when dragging through wet grass. There is a nice bag with Velcro strap included with is much needed as it can be hard to gather the lead back up neatly when on a walk. Happy so far but time will tell for the durability.
