Very versatile
I love this! It does a great job of chopping garlic quickly. I also used it to chop fresh herbs, just leaves, no stems. Just don't put too much in at 1 time. You do need a small utensil to remove everything from the chopper. Clean up is quick and easy.

Great design! So fun to use!!
LOVE!! I always hated cutting garlic, it takes forever, and makes my hands smell forever even after washing. BUUUUT this makes it so easy! I peel the garlic, throw it in, and it chops it so far and easily! The overall design of this chopper is amazing!

Works great
This chops up my garlic perfectly. The only ding is it’s kind of hard top open.

Hands-down the best purchase I've EVER made.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! This tool has changed my life. I know that sounds dramatic, but it really has. I've spent years, at least 10 looking for an easier way to mince garlic. I hate chopping and mincing it, it's small and awkward to do and so time consuming. The jarred minced just isn't the same and doesn't offer the right flavor. This led me to leaving out garlic in my recipes, not all the garlic, just one clove instead of three, etc.I've purchased every garlic press there is, from expensive ones, self cleaning ones, easy to use, all different shapes and sizes. None of them ever worked that well and were always a complete pain to clean, even the 'self cleaning ones'. I was shopping in Amazon for a new press, chopper, something or anything to make chopping garlic easier for me so I can and want to use a good amount of garlic easily. I came across this little amazing thing. I'm SO glad I purchased this. This chopper is small and compact, fits perfectly in my drawer. It opens easily and fits one large clove or two smaller cloves in it at a time. You just roll this bad baby back and fourth until you are satisfied with the size of the garlic, open the top and dump into your recipe. I give it a little tap on the edge of the bowl and most of the garlic falls in. Whatever is left can usually just scraped out with a small dinner spoon. Once I'm done I just open the top and rinse with a drop of dish detergent inside, close it up shake it around, then rinse thoroughly. I put it the strainer to open to dry. About once a week I open it all the way after use, remove the blades and wash the inside with a soapy sponge. I find that it doesn't really need to throughly washed with every use as long as you rinse with hot soapy water right away. I always peel my garlic before use so there isn't any skin to get caught up inside the device. Others may feel differently and do a thorough wash every time, to each their own. I wouldn't recommend putting it in the dishwasher, just because of the rubber on the wheels may be compromised and I'm positive that it would turn opaque or not as see-through after a few washes. I like to be able to cleaner see how big/small the garlic is.Pros:Extremely easy to useEasy to fill and remove chopped garlicChops very well and quicklyVery easy to cleanAffordableCons:The roller can be a bit hard to get going and jam-up a bit sometimesChops garlic in a rustic way, won't do a tiny minceA lot of the garlic gets stuck at the top during rolling - see below on how to deal with thisHowever, none of cons should stop anyone from buying, just wanted to note them. For the difficult roller I will just put a towel down to give it more grip to start the rolling process, usually once I'm rolling it all good. The garlic being chopped in a rustic way is something I don't mind, but maybe others will. For the garlic that sticks to the top while rolling I just gently tap the roller on my counter to knock it all down then start rolling again, problem solved.Lastly, a tip to getting the most garlic out with the first dump; I turn the unit upside down and give it a few gentle taps on a folded towel and most of the garlic will be in the top area that pops open, just open and dump. Make sure to be gently, I could see this cracking very easily.Buy this garlic chopper! You will not be disappointed. Hands-down the best purchase I've EVER made.

Brittle plastic breaks easily
I've had two of these, and they work well, but the hinges have broken on both of them a couple of months into using them

Game Changer In The Garlic World
We cook with garlic a lot, like really a lot. We decided to keep track once and we used almost 2,500 cloves of garlic in less than a year. I stumbled across this little gem while scrolling around the internet and figured it was worth the try for as cheap as it is. We ordered it last October and it is still going strong. It does an amazing job of finely chopping garlic and you can even get it to do a coarser or finer chop depending on how many times you roll it back and forth. It makes super quick work of finely chopping raw garlic. You could buy pre-minced garlic in a jar but, if you've ever tried that, you know that it is not nearly as fragrant or pungent as fresh raw garlic and it's more expensive. This gets you quick and easy minced garlic without sacrificing flavor. Cleaning it isn't difficult, but garlic becomes a little sticky when cut up and this is no different. It takes a few minutes of rinsing under the faucet to get all the little pieces of garlic out from the blade grooves and other places the garlic makes its way into. Having said that, if you aren't as lazy as I am, cleaning this with a small brush (like a tooth brush or one of those skinny brushes you use to clean steel drink straws) would probably make it quicker and easier. If you like minced garlic and don't want to deal with the hassle of hand mincing it, this is for you.

Uniform garlic
I had another one of these but the lid cracked so I purchased this as a replacement. Some people are complaining that it's hard to roll, not if you do it correctly. When you put your garlic in the chamber don't try to roll it, the garlic needs to get to a smaller size first. I rock it back and forth allowing the blades to cut through the garlic clove. Once the garlic gets smaller you can start rolling but if it stops the garlic needs to be smaller so rock it back and forth again. Rock and roll. You could probably chop garlic just as fast or faster but what I like about this little gadget is that the garlic is chopped uniformly and you don't get garlic pieces jumping everywhere as your chopping and your fingers don't smell like garlic.
