ADC 618P Adscope Adimals Model 618 Pediatric Clinician Stethoscope With Tunable AFD Technology, Pink

I work with kids at a children's hospital and this stethoscope is great!! The kids love to look at it and it always brings a smile to their face, making assessments easier to complete, espcially on the "wild ones" LOL. The little pop on faces are adorable and stay in place.I clean it before and after each use with Clorox wipes. The bleach has had NO effect on the product. This stethoscope's sound quality is just as good as my Littman Cardiology I used when I cared for adults. The ear pieces are VERY comfortable and allow for great listening. Great buy, I get lots of comments and compliments on this at work. I am asked "where did you buy that" almost daily!A must have for anyone who works with kids. It’s really nice and exactly as described and just like images portrayed. My friend whom I got it for that’s a doctor… all her patients compliment it and tells her it’s really cute.

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend who is a nurse. She recently got a new job at a pediatric clinic was really excited, so I was looking for a gift that was fitting.... and this was perfect!!! I was looking at a lot of products-- animal name tags, plastic animal covers, fabric covers for the tube, etc. I really liked this but was concerned as to how well it would work. Lets be honest, it looks kind of childish, so I was hoping that for the price, it would be an effective set of ears and not just a very expensive toy....THEY TOTALLY WORK!!! It's been a few weeks now and she loves it-- and so do the kids. Its covered in stickers and she makes animal sounds when she goes to bring the bell up. It's not as accurate or sensitive as the Littman cardiologic 2 I use, but, lets be honest, it doesn't have to be. For doing basic vitals, heart/lung sounds, and the occasional murmur, it's perfectly adequate. Also, you should know that the tube is EXTRA long. We ended up cutting off about 8" to make it a more normal length. Personally, I think it's a plus since you can size it to yourself.I'm an EMT in medical school and so I've got plenty of experience with picking a stethoscope.

I work in Pediatrics and this kids love it!!! Works good and not bad for the price.

This is a great pediatric stethoscope. It actually comes with 7 different interchangeable animal faces, just as shown in the picture, although it states only 6. The sound quality is very good and for the price, you can't beat it. I have owned a more expensive brand of pediatric stetho and I wasn't impressed at all with it (Littman). The kids LOVE the little animals and it makes for easier assessment when they're frightened or agitated (or both). I just tell them the panda wants to listen to their lungs and it works everytime. Seriously, you just can't go wrong with this. Good job ADC.

Exceeded my expectations. I am very impressed with both sound and quality. The stethoscope s soft, light weight, and acoustics are excellent. The ear pieces are comfortable and the whole unit is easy to clean. The little animal faces are easy to change but are very secure too. Great buy, and very economical. I had a Littman go missing and bought this as an affordable replacement. I was shocked when I could not perceive any difference in sound quality between this and my Littman.

I bought this to work in a family practice office. The kids LOOOVE and I mean LOVE all the different animals! Easily interchangeable and darling. Not only is it cute, but it works well on adults and children. Only downfall is that the pink is fading fast, but its okay because the animals are still in great shape even after a lot of use.

I am a pediatric ED nurse. I bought this to help with assessing the kiddos. The frog face is great for getting the littles to engage and let me "hop" on their heart or to listen to their lungs. You are not going to hear a mur mur, but you can hear wheezes and dim bases for sure! It is light and fun.
