I was a little unsure because I've used cake boards that look similar previously and they were not very sturdy. These are sturdy enough to support a good sized cake so they were a good purchase.

Helped add that extra professional look to my cake, looked good. Seems pretty sturdy too. The top few were dented from how it was packaged. I noticed the same mentioned by another reviewer so I guess you just need to expect to sacrifice some during shipping.
