RBH Sound R56CiB Center Channel Speaker

I had svs speakers and wanted to upgrade was looking at the svs ultras and actually ordered one but it came damaged so I sent it back, I was already researching other speaker brands and I kept seeing rbh, so I ordered the center from Amazon and the 2 towers from rbh directly. 1 word wow, great big sound, much more base and fuller sound than my older svs, which I think sounded pretty good. This speaker is huge so make sure you have the room for it. I'm very happy with my front three from rbh, I'm using my svs bookshelves for surround in a 7.1.2 setup. I was a little hesitant to order speakers that a week before I had never heard of, but am very happy with these and saved several hundred dollars in the process.

I added this center to an RBH MC series set up. RBH is my upper end go to brand. For price and quality you won't come close in comparison. I bought my center for an even better price used without any regrets. I like that the woofers are capable of lower tones that go down to meet the subwoofer(s) eliminating that annoying void associated with surround set-ups. Don't expect powerful bass from this center channel, thats what subs are for. Mids and tweeter are also very good. The look of these speakers does not disappoint, I think they look good with or without the grills. The most important thing about speakers(in general) that most people don't realize is that you need to experiment with the placement. Leave yourself some space when designing a set-up. Puting a speaker to close to a wall prevents the sound from blossoming before it reaches the seating area. Also note that the speakers in this series have rear ports which require a little more room, those ports need to breathe in order for the cones to move properly. Enjoy your new speakers!!!
