Funciono correctamente el protocolo 485 a 2 hilos, sin problema , tuve que hacer una llamada al servicio técnico de startech y es de excelente calidad la atencion. recomendado.

Buenos dias, no encontraba en el mercado ningun adaptador rs232-usb,para poder transmitir programas cnc desde un torno okuma con salida datos rs232 a un ordenador portatil entrada usb. Este adaptador me dio un resultado perfecto. Lo recomiendo 100x100

This thing rocks! I love having the terminal strip so that I don't have to have a DB9 cable when the device I'm connecting to doesn't use one. I also like having the RS-232 and RS-485 on the same tool so I don't have to keep more stuff around. The only thing I miss on it, that seems to have gone the way of the dinosaur, is lights that indicate traffic.

C est un très bon boîtier. Ce que j'ai particulièrement apprécié c'est qu'il a été livré avec un support mural que nous pouvons fixe. Il faut des visses à tête plates sinon il le boîtier ne rentre pas. Mon usage se limite au rs232 pour la configuration d'équipements actif (commutateur, routeur, etc). Aucun problème de fonctionnement sur des Linux récent (debian wheezy, gentoo). De plus le câble fourni est suffisamment long pour travailler de manière confortable dans des répartiteur parfois mal ranger. Cependant, la taille du boîtier lui même est un handicap pour le travail en mobilite. Pour mon usage, un simple adaptateur rs232/usb se révèle moins encombrant et moins onéreux. Par contre je pense que ce produit conviendra parfaitement à ceux qui se servent du rs485 ou bien qui travaille toujours dans leur atelier grâce au support mural.
