When my dad passed, I found his original 1945 Hoppe’s rifle cleaning kit with the .22 my grandfather gave him on his 15th birthday. That kit still works, and while I upgraded the oil and the cleaning fluid after 70+ years, I still clean dad’s .22 with that kit today. When I recently had the need for a 9mm pistol cleaning kit, there was no question I would buy a Hoppe’s. Any company that can make quality products that last most of a century deserve to be a go-to. This 9mm cleaning kit is great. It has everything you need. Who cares the kind of box it comes in, what matters is on the inside. And here’s my favorite part - the items in this kit are EXACTLY the same quality that gramps bought my dad in 1945. Of it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Don’t save a buck on Chinese kits from a company you have never heard of. Hoppe’s kits have lasted the test of time - three generations and will someday be handed down to a fourth. Why buy anyone else’s firearm cleaning kits?

Came as in perfect condition, cleaned my gun as good as new, right on time, plan on buying again when I need more.

Looks like a great product. I didn't read the details of which calibers it will service. I have a .45 so this obviously won't work for mine. And no returns accepted. It's fair for me to pay return shipping, but they won't even accept it due to regulations. Reason for the 4 star is that I think this package would be a really attractive item if it serviced .22-.50 cal to help satisfy and reach dummies like me that don't read the whole listing and just buy "pistol cleaning kit"

Definitely not the best quality rod or accessories, so don't expect a "high end" kit. And as others have stated, the case is really cheap. And those are the only cons I have. But they weren't really cons for me as I kinda expected this type of quality at this price.Other than that, I'd definitely recommend the set if you're on a budget or if you just need a little kit for whatever reason. The Hoppe's 9 solution and cotton patches are the worth the price of the kit alone. It comes with a sturdy bore brush, a knob end, and patches, so it'll keep your firearm clean and lubed up. And I personally won't be lugging it around, so even though the storage case it comes in is super cheap, flimsy, and won't last long if it's beat up, I didn't buy it for that, so it didn't take a star off for that. I admit, if the case was a concern, I'd be disappointed. But just like the rest of the kit, it's functional and won't break the bank, so I have no complaints.If you're not expecting a "high end" kit, then this is a good buy. It's fully functional and isn't expensive. Got this little thing since I lost my "higher end" kit during a move. So this kit does it's job. I'm content.
