I am glad that you asked, because your question made me look throughly at my bottle and the front of the bottle says, that it is Carrot Seed Oil. 100% natural cold pressed. On the side of the bottle it has canola and vitamin E oil, as the ingredient; and it is not FDA evaluated.

Yes, try it out.Carrot Lip Gloss Recipe:*5-7 drops of Carrot Seed Oil *1/2 tsp. coconut oil *1 tsp. petroleum jelly Directions:Combine the ingredients in a small glass bowl until well mixed. Heat for about 2 minutes in the microwave. Stir and pour into a small container. Let cool completely before use.Good luck !
