I tried Oribe for the first time and was skeptical. Now I cannot imagine my hair routine without it. Lovey scent and just the right hydration my hair needs.

Let me start by saying that I have been using "good" shampoos for about twenty years. I've used everything from Aveda to Pureology, Alterna, Davines - the list goes on and on. For the last few years I've been using Kerastase volumizing shampoo, and I do love it. It's great shampoo and I really thought I'd found a favorite in it, however, then along came Oribe! I overhead two ladies at my yoga studio (both with amazing hair) talking about Oribe, and I wanted to try it so I ordered it in the small travel size just in case I didn't like it. It's truly amazing. Due to a thyroid issue my hair fell out for almost three years and has gotten pretty thin and limp in some places, especially in my crown. It's since stopped falling out thanks to the right thyroid meds, but still - it's been difficult to feel confident about my hair when I feel like I've lost about 30 % or more of it in the last few years. I wasn't really expecting a miracle from Oribe - just wanted to try it, and was already pretty happy with my Kerastase. It's definitely concentrated so you don't have to use much. It smells so good and my hair was so soft after I rinsed it, even before conditioning it. I use cheap conditioner - nothing special because my hair is short and I always use good shampoo - so I was really surprised to still be able to smell the Oribe after I conditioned. The real shock to me was how my hair felt when I was drying it. I had so much volume and shine. I felt like a model in a hair commercial or something. I'm almost 40 and have never experienced my hair feeling like this before except when I get a professional blow out. I didn't put any product in it or anything and it just looked really good and full. My husband even told me my hair looked really good which he normally would not say unless I "fix" it with products, etc. Anyway - I've never written a review for shampoo before, but I am so amazed by this shampoo and I just love it. I'm ordering the big bottle asap. I think people who are rating it poor who have fine hair might be using the wrong conditioner.
