Why did you pick this product vs others?: I choose this brand because it is tried and true. These are strong bags and hold a lot! I go through a lot of these and they are worth the extra money.

I have continued to buy these for my kitchen trash can because after the first use I was a fan. I use a reusable filter for my Keurig quite a bit and I dump my grinds in the trash can. Liquid sometimes is at the bottom of the bag and I don't want the bags to break before I make it to the door. That has happened to me in the past with cheap trash bags and throwing some stuff away that poked a hole in the bag. I had a wet mess on my floor and that's when I decided that strong trash bags are a must for me. These bags are strong and I've not had any more problems with throwing something away that punctured the bag. I also use these in my cat litter box because they are stronger than the cat liners I've tried. I open the bag and slide it over the tub of the litter box leaving the end open. I add the top to the box and litter and when it's time to change the litter, I roll it back and pull it inside out trapping the litter in the trash bag. It makes it easy to keep my litter box clean and me happy. There are two rolls of 45 bags each and that makes it easy to get the bags out because the roll isn't one enormous roll. The ties are sturdy and I'll be a fan for life. And as you can see, kitty Chelsea gives her paw approval as well.

As stewards of our environment I am certain that many of us are concerned re: the amount of waste material that goes into the landfills. We have heard the cautions re: plastic, however, there are those times when it is essential to use it. In my experience Glad Tall Kitchen Bags have always proven to be strong and effective. Additionally, I am pleased to note that on the box it says, "small change, big difference..." It is a consolation to know that less plastic is used to make these bags. This is a step in the right direction. Over time I hope that even more answers will be available for us to reduce the amount of waste that we send to the landfills. However, with all of that said, I have always been highly satisfied with Glad Tall Kitchen Bags particularly with the drawstring feature. Truly, it keeps the waste matter securely tied in. Trash bags that fit a standard kitchen trash can. I like this brand - and this specific version - because my family is notorious for over-stuffing trash cans. They will pack, push, balance, slide, shake, and do any other action necessary to fit their article of trash on the pile in an attempt to avoid just taking out the trash. This means I get to do uniquely strange dances while attempting to get the bag out of the can...but that's ok with these bags. Due to the ties, there is a little additional space at the top of the bag - which helps keeps everything contained within the bag, instead of spilling out all over the floor (and me). The ties are pretty strong allowing one to shake the trash deeper into the bag than many other brands. It is easy to tie the ties - and they are sturdy enough to provide a handle with which to carry out the trash. The bags themselves are pretty tough - I have not found another brand that will stand up to similar abuse without breaking. Glad bags will stretch and expand to accommodate virtually anything. That's not to say they won't rip - they will. They are PLASTIC - anything sharp in the bag will cut and/or puncture the bag. When liquid is thrown into the trash bag, it has been my experience that these do not leak as much - or as often. Of course, if you slide the bag across pavement or a rough surface, it will leak. Again, this is PLASTIC. It's not some special high tech material - it's a trash bag. But if you're looking for a strong trash bag that can stand up to some abuse and over-stuffing without wimping out - or worse, disintegrating - look no further. The price is good (especially for the quality), there is no strong odor to them, and they do their job. That's why I continue to buy these. Bottom Line: Practically simple - or simply practical. They work - and work a lot harder than any of the teenagers around here. ;) Sturdy. Can take some abuse. I've never had one "disintegrate" - which makes these a priceless value to me.

I bought this box of 90ct 13 gallon trash bags in June 2022. I love them. Durable and flexible as long as you don’t go overboard stuffing or yanking on them. They have lasted my family of 4 a long time because I do recycle as much as I possibly can. So here I am in October 2023 and I still have some left, but getting low. Looking to get another order placed for the same bags because I love the odor control. It has a very slight fresh scent, but not like the other scented bags that make me nauseous and give me a splitting headache. The best way I can describe it is that they smell like a fresh dryer sheet. I paid $15.94 for the same box of 90 count in 2022. Today, the same box is now $29.94. It’s not inflation. It’s price gouging. That’s the only complaint I have.

To date, these are my favorite trash bags for a few reasons. Although certainly not completely puncture proof, better than most and tie much better than most on the market today! They aren't cheap, but it's a get what you pay for type of thing. Also I like the material and color. For some reason **knock on wood** they seem to attract less flies. That's something you have to consider when you live out in the country surrounded by farms. All in all I'm surprised. I'd love to see them stronger. But I'm thankful for these!

I love these kitchen garbage bags, and I've already purchased them three different times, because they're awesome! They give just the right amount, so they hardly ever snag on my garbage like other liners do. They're pretty stretchy, so you can fit pretty much everything that you want in these, but I try to throw mine out before they get overly full. They're long enough that they'll fit in almost any kitchen trash can. My can is really tall, and they fit perfectly. They're also extremely strong. I've taken thrown both liquids and broken glass in the same bag, and it didn't leak. I wouldn't do this on a regular basis, but it is pretty tough to puncture them. And, the drawstring is really easy to find and pull. I also love that these are completely unscented. Smells really bother me, and to me, there's nothing worse than the new style garbage bags that smell like bad Febreeze. Fortunately, these don't smell at all, not even much like plastic.
