Cheap, effective, comfortable.
My favorite part about this thing is that it’s CHEAP! It’s not trying to hide that, either. It’s cheap & you’re getting exactly what you pay for. Quite a comfortable grip, makes holding the 3DS with my big hands much easier and makes extended play sessions so comfortable. The only problem I have with it is the joke of a kickstand on the back, where the price really starts to show. It will not hold your DS up, and is way too easy to knock over. Honestly, the kickstand feels too cheap. I think they could get the price of the unit down if they would just manufacture it without the kick stand. It’s a waste. Every other aspect of the grip is perfect, but if they shave another 4 dollars off the price by removing it, and I think this would be perfect.

Must have.
Feels great on the console and the plastic is a good quality.Kinds of a glittery Grey color which I like. Snaps on well. Shake test, it is not coming off easily.WOW! Game play wise it is a massive boost. Playes FE awakening for 4hrs straight didn't realize, no cramps, no need to change position.

3.5 stars- cheap but effective
Bottom Line:Better than no grip; I'm willing to deal with the cons listed below for that reason alone. Not their fault, but lame:> Putting this on your 3DS XL will make it not fit in any protective zip-up case you have. I have this problem with my official switch grip as well. not their fault, but just FYI.Pros:> cheap (~$14)> Thickens and widens the 3DS XL so that your hands sit more comfortably (they're not squished)> Light (100g according to the box art)> Does exactly what was promisedCons:> Too Cheap: the plastic feels flimsy where it clips (other reviewers have mentioned the clips breaking due to improper technique of 3DS removal). For nearly the same price, my switch grip is sturdier, doesn't block anything accept docking ability on a standard dock, is more flexible, and has lasted over 6 years. For the materials this is made from, I expect <$10 price range. The vender should ship it without a box to save money on materials if necessary.> The game card slot is blocked. This is likely because in order to leave it unblocked, the frame would be too fragile, so they block it; at least I hope that's the reason.> You need specific instructions to remove it without breaking it. This is a bad design if that's the case.> It's a little small. Not super small, but the grip is off compared to something like an Xbox controller.> If you're going to make box art and text, do your due diligence to use proper English (or any other language the box text comes in), otherwise do away with it all together to save money on packaging and reduce the price of the item for consumers. This isn't a dig on the product itself, just a pet peeve of mine.

Just Amazing
While I was trying to 100% Mario kart 7, my hands would always cramp up from holding an item for too long but with these, it just feels natural.

Better than nothing
This is grip is the definition of better than nothing. It fits in the hand weird, mine doesn't fit properly and has slight wobliness to it, and it hinders accessing the cartrige slot. But it's better than nothing. My main problem with the grip i that it doesn't stick out in a way that fits the form of my hands, it always feels like the grips just isn't big enough or is big in the wrong areas to where it doesn't just sit in your hands. And while it isn't difficult to put on or take off, it is still annoying nonetheless to have to take it off to switch games. And while I'm sure that this is a defect in the mold of mine, there's a slight gap on the right side of the pocket causing my 3ds to wiggle slightly inside the grip.Overall its better than nothing, but there are probably better choices out there.

Works great with proper care
This is a comfortably contoured grip made with hard plastic. This is great for pet owners, because the other grips out there are made with soft silicone, which attracts fur.To attach the grip to your New 3DS XL, push the edge of your 3DS that doesn't have the L/R buttons into the grip first. Then, finish by gently snapping the edge that does have the L/R buttons into the case.To remove the grip WITHOUT BREAKING THE GRIP'S PLASTIC TABS: hold the 3DS+grip in one hand such that your 3DS's lid is against your palm, your thumb rests on the edge that has the L/R buttons, and your other four fingers are holding the opposite edge, which doesn't have the L/R buttons. With your other hand, use your thumb to grip the edge of the grip that's on your 3DS's edge that has the L/R buttons, and place the other four fingers on the opposite edge of the grip for leverage. Your hands' thumbs should be next to each other, and your non-thumb fingers should all be along the same edge as each other. Use your first hand to squeeze your 3DS into the non-L/R edge of the grip, and use your second hand to gently pull the grip away from the 3DS with your thumb. The motion is similar to how you open a small coin purse that's closed by clasps.

Don’t waste your money.
1. Doesn’t clip or stay on. Uses gravity to mimic “grip”2. Plastic is very slippery. No finish or grip to hold onto3. No cut outs for headphone jack or stylus4. 3DS XL doesn’t even sit flush and can move around when inside. (See 2nd photo)

I got a good one.
Fits great, easy to take off. I don't have the issue of it falling out.
