Let me start with this:I am supposed to state at the end I received this at a discounted rate for my honest review. I don't think I am allowed to state what I paid, so I wont, but this was a total waste of money. I only give it 2 stars because the seller was reasonable.I ordered this item and amazon stated that it would take 6 weeks for delivery I waited patiently and the item did not show on time. I emailed the seller twice before I received a reply and threatened a bad review. They apologized and shipped me a new box in two days. The 2 days was the reason for the extra star. I have to say they were responsive.Now for the item. I ordered 2 to place behind my DJ facade for some background lighting. They came in a box packed nicely. I opened the 1st one up and to my surprise it is totally plastic. Cheap plastic at that. The only metal is the cheap bracket that is attached. I thought ok lets plug it in and see, maybe it is better than it looks. As I dumped the package out I found a USB drive and a remote. NO INSTRUCTIONS! I grabbed some batteries (that are not included) and popped them in the very cheaply made remote and plugged it in. It did nothing. I pushed the big red button and it began to flash through every color. I pushed every button on the remote an no changes.The box shows solid colors there is no way to set it to a solid color I pushed the mode button on the remote it did nothing. There is no way to set it to a solid color nor is there any way to change the strobe speed. It is either music activated or continuous strobe.I plugged in the usb drive that came with it and after trying like 10 times it finally started playing music out of the single speaker.They are put together poorly with gaps on some and screws missing on others. Remember I bought 2 and neither of them are put together the same. After playing for a while I found the remote will turn the volume up and skip songs. I still have no clue what the mode button does. I can only figure it switches between the card reader slot and the usb, but I wont waste my time even playing with it.So final notes. This item it not even worth 5 bucks never mind 40. It will be FAR too much hassle to send them back, so I will give them to my kids and I am sure they will be broken in less than a week. I assumed because they were a little higher price they may compare to the American DJ or Chauvet products. That was a mistake. I bought a laser that was half of what they want for this and it is a way more useful product. I will post pictures along with this if I can figure it out.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JUNK!

This light is super bright.I was a little concerned when I got it and it didn't have a audio input port, but it uses vibration to activate.It has a sensitivity knob so you can go as loud as you want and still get the pulsing effect.It has a built in player that supports a SD card and a controller to operate it.I pointed it at the ceiling because directly looking at the LEDs would probably blind you.

This light is amazing and works great. Lights up with the beat of the music. I got this for my friend as a surprise as he is a DJ stuff and he was very pleased.I received this product at discounted price in exchange for a review
