First, I love the concept of the book. The listing page did an abysmal job of explaining its nature, so I’ll give it a shot for you, and then I’ll provide my general impressions. Each page contains a date, in the form of just day and month, for example, October 28. Every day for five years, you flip to the applicable page. The book provides you a place to jot down the year and day of the week, along with 6.5 lines to write whatever you like. Most people probably write a summary of their day, or issues they’re facing at that time, etc., but the journal’s content is really only limited by your imagination! The following October 28, you flip to that page, write that year’s journal entry, and can re-read the previous year’s entry to see what you were doing and thinking about exactly a year before. And you can do this for five whole years! It’s an awesome idea. I imagine I’ll be keeping one the rest of my life!Furthermore, the concept of the book is perfectly implemented. The book is beautiful to look at; I keep mine on my coffee table, where I can easily access it and make the day’s entry. It’s extremely sturdy, which is necessary given it’ll receive daily use for five whole years! I love the wood-grain cover, which gives it such a distinctive aesthetic. Suffice it to say this is hardly a standard journal.I think this book makes an excellent gift, but only for the soulful, introspective type that would actually keep a journal. I love the journal so much that I purchased one for a Christmas gift exchange last month, and was shocked to find that nobody wanted it! But trust me on this - the book is an absolute treasure in the right hands!I’ve purchased other books of the same type, and this book is far and away the best of the bunch! Really, you can’t go wrong! Enjoy!

This is an incredible journal for 5 years. It is somewhere between B5 and A4 size, so it is super easy to write in, and gives generous space for every entry. On top of that it is an absolute pleasure to use and hold.I don't know why more 5 year journals aren't this sort of size. Those tiny little A6 ones are sweet, but not for everyone.

Plenty of space to write my day's highlights. Not too big to comfortably write in. This is a quality journal that feels like it will go the distance. No missing pages - like another brand 5 year journal, which I bought recently.

Really pleased with the 5 year journal which I ordered based on numerous other good reviews. The book is approximately 21 cms x 26 cms, the pages seem to be of good quality. I like the amount of space for adding notes and the "day" / "weather" symbols - very happy with purchase and might get some more for xmas presents.
