Excellent Safe, solid steel construction, build quality better than many others of this class and type.

Fantastic little save. I like the fact there are three ways to unlock the safe. Biometric, 4-6 Digital code, and emergency key. Also if the battery pack runs down it has a battery backup that can be plugged in to the safe and open to change batteries. The batterys operate a light that lights the inside up and the fingerprint reader also the touch keypad. And it can be mounted to the wall securely.

The safe is great, the one star is for the insanely inept instructions. They tell you NOTHING about how to set up your finger print or the pass code. After searching the internet and YouTube for about 20 minutes I FINALLY found someone that posted just how to do these very important tasks. I would have messaged customer service had I found an email ANYWHERE that I could send a message to. Tenamic REALLY needs to spend a little more time and include correct and clear instructions for setup.

This is a great little safe! To be clear if not bolted to the wall, nothing prevents a thief from walking off with it. It is not fireproof or break-in proof. With that, it sits on shelf in my closet and holds some values and my firearms. I specifically bought it to keep my firearms locked up and out of reach of my son. For that, it is great! The fingerprint reader is good and works as designed! Admittedly, you have to hit it just right with relatively dry hands for it to work. The fact you can program up to 30 prints is great, use it for me and my wife. We also use a key code as a backup to gain access. Setting up the fingerprints and code was very simple. There is even a little alarm you can set if some rocks the safe and deactivates with code or print. One downside is every time you press a button or use the print reader, it beeps. It is not overly loud, but loud enough if you want to access it in the middle of the night because of a suspected intruder, depending on the size of your house and location of safe, may be heard opening. One thing not mentioned in the instructions. The safe dial/keypad will not work if the batteries die (that is mentioned). The only way to access it of that happens is the emergency back up key (don't lose) or (this is what is not mentioned) the safe does come with a battery back up kit. The kit plugs into the safe keypad and powers it up so you can use the keypad and/or print reader to get the safe open. Once opened, you can replace the batteries. All in all, at this price point and my needs, this is perfect. Not too big, small, or overly complicated. As long as your not looking for something that is theft proof, this is great.

Very well designed product. The engineering on the safe has the latest authentication and safety measures taking them to mind from consumers. It doesn't have a hard reset button in the back which is great. Because most most states that you buy from Walmart you can reset them with a wire hanger. I did buy it used so it does have a little scratch in the front but I don't mind.

For a safe at its current price point (As of 3/22/2023), it...does its job I guess. However, that does not excuse the poor quality of the safe. My main reason being the knob which you open the safe is cheaply handled. If you take a closer look, you can see its only being held by one large spring coil and a tiny screw. This will wear out and sadly this happened to me. After 5 month of use the knob finally wear out and cannot open the safe. I had to use a tool to open the safe. Another poor thing that was handled was the battery cover. While isn't bad to say the least, there is a cap that is basically a small rectangle cover. This can get lost very easily if you aren't careful and I ended up losing it. Silly me I guess but I feel like the design could be way better. Maybe have the cap integrated to the safe? [Outdated] Lastly is support. Uh, there is none lol. Seriously! Since my return window has closed I cannot return it so I was wondering if I can get some support with this safe. Sadly to my knowledge there is none. I should've really looked into the seller profile because I noticed something immediately suspicious. First of all, the sellers business name looks like someone smashed their keyboard 500 times. I mean, do you know a business name that is "ningboshibeilunqulinghushangmaoyouxiangongsi"? This business name is in pinyin but there is no spacing so I cannot translate this well lol. I could really make up a few characters. Oh yea by the way there is no phone number to contact or email so uhh..have fun?! [Updated 4/6/2023] Turns out I was wrong! Silly me! Their support email is in their manual. Tenamic came out of their way to gave me a replacement safe. For Tenamic efforts, I will boost this from 1 stars to 3 stars. I think this is the sweet point for this safe but I still think Tenamic can do better on this safe like making the knob more durable. Overall, props to you Tenamic! Continue what you do.
