Great product
Good build quality for a budget option.

Comfort and value.
If you wear button or stud type earing or use a simple inserted earing aid, or wear glass, these over ear headphones are much better then on ear headphones which I find tend hurt with long term use. These Phillips over ear headphones do not have enhanced feature but they are good value, comfortable, after head adjustment, from the on set of wear and just plug in to use. Additional they come with 6.5mm and 3.5 mm jacks so they can be used with many appliances eg. desk top computer, mobiles, radio, TV or simple music amps connections. One issue, I wish they came in different colours other than black.

An unforgivable waste of money.
Sound quality is dire, I tested these on a known good MP3 player (NOT purchased from Amazon, for obvious reasons!) indoors in quiet circumstances and top volume was barely audible. Noise cancelling is entirely passive, you'd get the same noise cancellation from ear warmers. Indeed, when I tried these worthless headphones out in public, the surrounding noise often drowned out what was being played directly into my ears. Utterly pointless and worthless.I then plugged this waste of plastic into a 100W Fender Bass guitar amp that is capable of holding its own against a five piece drum kit played in anger, and even with the amp at top volume (which is actually hazardous to health!) I had trouble distinguishing what was being played on bass guitar, and the mp3 player was again, barely audible. The cable is far too flimsy to withstand any kind of regular usage and I am yet again, disgusted with Amazon for selling such useless landfill fodder.Save your money. Use a more professional vendor.

Good while they lasted
After purchase, they worked for about 2 months, and they were great but eventually the flaws in the output jack showed, because it started to bend (from fairly light use over time) in one direction, which then caused one ear to have no sound. I don't really recommend these headphones to anyone hoping to use them for anything other than very light use. Doesn't take a lot to break them.

Decent wired headphones
I work from home and do a lot of video calls. I have several Bluetooth headphones, but when you have lots of back to back calls, on lots of different pieces of call software, wired headphones just work. My old wired Jabra headphones were excellent but starting to fall apart. These Philips ones look ok, fit, work well fine for conference calls. They’re a good value for money replacement for my old Jabras, with decent sound quality. Just don’t expect dynamic brilliance, for listening to music, or noise cancelling at this price point.
