Lekue Maker with 6 Individual Bagel Molds, Brown

As someone who is wheat free, i have been baking my own breads for years. There are some baked goods however that I do miss and bagels is one of them. This item was easy to use and helped me make professional looking bagels. Follow the instructions to make perfect bagels. The only adjustment I made as other reviews suggested, was to take the bagels off the moulds before they were fully baked, this allows for a more even looking bake. Time according to your oven temp, experiment!

Very deserving of a five star review. We have found these silicone bagel molds to be of very high quality. The design is absolutely genius. The silicone stays cool to the touch, making it easy and safe to hold the bagels in simmering water prior to topping and then baking them right on the molds. Water drains off quickly through the bottom perforations that also enable even browning when they bake. I've had no problems washing mine in the top rack of the dishwasher. A small bonus is that they make me smile whenever I use them because they look like witches' hats. 🙂 My husband and I look forward to getting many years of happy use from these sturdy but flexible forms. We've been having a lot of fun making all kinds of bagels together, some of which have been what you might call "creative." 😁 (The photo is of a mixed batch of seeded and cinnamon baking in our new Breville Smart Oven Air.)

Mi trovo molto bene con questi stampi da bagel, seguendo la ricetta contenuta nella scatola mi sono sempre venuti benissimo. Ora li faccio tutti i sabati usando una farina manitoba ai cereali oppure una farina integrale e ho sempre ottenuto una resa perfetta. Un po' costosi ma se vi piacciono i bagels vale la pena.

Die Lékué Bagelformen sind einfach großartig! Die Silikonformen sind flexibel, hitzebeständig und machen das Bagel-Backen unglaublich einfach. Durch die konische Form behalten die Bagels ihre typische Form, und nichts klebt an. Zudem lassen sich die Formen leicht reinigen, entweder per Hand oder in der Spülmaschine. Die Größe der Formen (10,3 cm) ist ideal für mittlere Bagels, und es macht richtig Spaß, sie zu benutzen. Mit den 6 Stück im Set hat man genug, um eine größere Menge auf einmal zu backen. Fazit: Super praktische Backhelfer für Bagelliebhaber – klare Kaufempfehlung!

I was skeptical about silicon baking products but am extremely happy with this product. In fact, I was so happy with it that I bought three more sets for my adult kids who all like to bake. The product works exactly as described and the recipe book that comes with the instructions is simple and accurate. Though not so cheap, this is a great product.
