The surface of the lid (top of the case/mini container) is way too slippery to open the case. One basically needs to put sticky glue on their fingers to get the lid off the container. There is no grip whatsoever where you can hold on to. The product looks funny though (on a desk), that's why I purchased it. It's also only about 4 euros, but they need to do better on the design and improve the grip. P.S. there is a similar mini container for the baby stabilo boss text marker, and for the thinner versions of this text marker of the same brand.
