Porter Street 28mm Perfect Fit

OK, so the huge Apple Watch and I were not meant for each other! The face on it was huge for this tiny wrist and I missed my old Timex watch immensely. I was determined to get a new watch with a stretch band and take it to a jeweler if needed to get it to fit my little wrist. Watch arrived four days ago and I sat down and read the instructions to size the band down and it was amazingly easy! Had it down to size in about five minutes. Love the band, love the face, and the nice indigo backlight for times it’s dark outside. I no longer have to dig my phone out of my purse to know the time! Old school watch wearing girl & loving it!

Finally a watch that fits bigger wrists!!! Most watches are made for a standard 7" wrist. Its like rings...they make most in a seven and you have to size up or down. Same with most watches, only down is usually the only option. This one would fit a 9" wrist without doing anything. I have an 8" and I had to have two pieces removed. You could leave it as a bracelet it was fine like that, but I wanted it watch style. You WILL have to have it adjusted, so be prepared for that if you buy this unless you have a nine inch wrist anyway. I paid fifteen bucks at the jeweler not to mess with it myself, if you know how, go for it. Maybe Walmart is cheaper? I don't know. It is not a low profile watch, but I love that it comes with the battery protected so you know you have a new battery not one that is going to die quick, because if you know timex you also know you cannot change the battery yourself and get the back back on! They are impossible to put back on yourself, just cannot be done. I love Indiglo beacause I cannot see my alarm across the room anymore, lol, so pushing that button at night is really great. It is hard to see the date even with my glasses on, its very tiny and the light has to be just right, though it is a handy feature. I buy this brand for the light. Its a nice enough looking watch, its not really dressy, its pretty casual in my opinion and not low profile. A great every day watch.

Perfect. As a senior I dislike those massive watches for women. I opted for Timex as it has always been a respected brand in timekeeping. The watch face and strap is small, delicate and what I wanted. I can easily read the time without my reading glasses, I can't however read the date as it is very dark and small but I can use my phone for that! Plenty of room on the strap for larger wrists too. I am very happy with this watch.

Although promised to arrive within 10 days, it got here in 3 days. 5 stars !!! Watch is top quality.
