Q: Can someone give a better answer as to what is the color difference between "white" and "winter frost"? Describe each plate please, if you had both

Winter white. Brighter white with nicer over all finishing. White. Flater Color Not as shinny.I definitely like winter frost white better

Q: Do these plates get marked up from metal utensils?

I've used different correll patterns for over 40 years. They handle children, parties. Won't break unless you throw it really hard underhand and the person ducks. The ones we got for wedding presents lasted over 35 yrs. Gave then to the children when went to college Also you cannot tell the new from the old. Metal doesn't leave marks. Have had white, green, blue, Christmas pattern and boating. Never a pattern fade.

Q: Do these plates feel cheap similar to plastic plates? Or do they feel more like ceramic or porcelain plates?

While I wouldn't call them luxury items, they certainly don't feel like cheap plastic. They are glass, surprisingly lightweight. You can't see through them, but they are far thinner than say a stoneware plate. I use them for everyday and have a set of china for special occasions. Both the options you mention are clay based. Glass has a slick feel, although there is a very soft texture to the surface.

Q: Are the plates oven safe? If so what max heat can they withstand?

I haven't used them in the oven however you should be able to put them in an oven up to a temperature of 350 degrees. I use them in the microwave all the time but usually not too long a time (1 minute or probably 3min. max to cook/warm something) so I have not encountered any problem with that.

Great price, great product

What's not to like. These plates look good and are very durable. I already had quite a few and decided to add to the collection so that the next time we have people over we can all have matching plates. They love the dishwasher, no fear of the pattern fading! I should get more.

I am so glad I found this on Amazon. First of all, corelle plates and bowls are made in the US. These are thin but sturdy and easy to carry. It has smooth surface and is lightweight. The design is simple but it beats most plates and bowls out there that are thicker and often made in China. 5 stars all the way.
