Ateco 8783 Tube Storage Box, 52-Compartments for Small Decorating Tubes

This is good for my regular size tips. The larger ones do not fit in this. Just what I needed to stay organized.

Perfect for all the regular sized decorating tips - also able to stack 2 or 3 at a time of several sizes. This is a must have in order to keep them all organized.

This works for what I got it for, but if you have a lot of cake decorating tips, you might want to go with something bigger. It actually has only 48 spots to stand the tips up on, but there are 4 areas to lay down tips that are short. It says it is for small tips. For those beginners, like me, small is kind of the basic size you can find anywhere when looking for cake decorating tips (even those "kits" at the grocery store). It definitely cannot hold anything larger. You can add in two flower nails, but they do have to be precisely placed. It can be easy to jiggle them out of place while closing the lid. I haven't stored a coupler in it because I have more than one, and I don't see the need to only store only one of my couplers in a different location. It works perfect for the tips I got, but I am only a beginning experimenter, not anywhere close to a professional. The case is pretty sturdy feeling, and I think it will last a while. I think it's at least worth the price.

I purchased the 52 tip case and am very pleased with the quality, sturdiness and extra space for flower nails and couplers. It holds standard, small tips (not large or Russian tips) and, when closed, keeps them in place without any falling over or shifting out of order. I really like the way they sit on their pegs so you can see the top of each tip and it’s design. The closure is hard plastic and I plan to be very careful opening the case so it doesn’t snap off but, so far, it closes securely and I’m not worried about it accidentally opening on its own. All in all, for the price, this is a very nice case and I’m pleased.

I just replaced my Ateco tip container that I purchased in 1977! It’s been through a lot, going to several states and overseas with me. This new one (which is exactly like my old one) not only looks better, I don’t have to use rubber bands to keep it closed. A very durable, useful and affordable piece of equipment for decorators. Keeps icing tips safe!
