I have two red eared sliders, they can go through a "large" can fairly quickly. this keeps up with thier needs and the buckets are nice because it helps keep it fresher than the screw on caps. the shellbros prefer this type and brand over others i've tried and it doesnt make thier habitat stink. the lid doesnt stick and is easy for an adult to open but a toddler would struggle for a moment though they could still get it open.

I've been feeding this food for my turtle 🐢 since I found him as a tiny little one. He's grown so much. He strong and alert ⚠️. He swimming like a champ so I know he is getting the nutrients he needs.Also. My cat 🐈 seems to love this food too.

My daughter’s turtle seems to like this food enough. However, these little gnat like flies kept appearing in the aquarium and my daughter’s room but nowhere else in my house and I kept wondering where are these flies coming from!?!? I didn’t figure it out until I stuck the whole container of food in the freezer for a day. I’m not super duper positive that the bugs were actually eggs in the food pellets, but so far I haven’t seen any of those flies since I pulled it out of the freezer. Hopefully that actually did the trick and I’ve solved my tiny fly problem
