My 5 y/o daughter loves this thermos!
My daughter adores this thermos. It is adorable and works well. We put ice and water in it before she heads to school and it is still nice and cold with ice and no leakage at the end of day. It fits perfectly in her lunch bag or her backpack side pocket. There was no kind of funny taste with plastic straw and it is comfortable with a handle for her to carry.

A good solid water bottle for Kindergarten
Likes: the handle is a good size for little hands, the flip top lid that protects the drinking spout, the fact that they don’t have to touch the drinking spout to get a drink or to open close the top, durability so far has been great, it is easy to disassemble, clean and reassemble, I hand wash the pieces - they are easy to clean, the liquid stays cold for most of the school day especially if I put a few (like 3-4) ice cubes in it, fits well in he side pocket of her backpack.Dislikes: The size is good for my child although I can see others might find it a little smalls, I think we will likely upgrade to the large size one in a year or two. It is not totally leakproof, but pretty close - if it stays on its side for too long while full water accumulated in ours under the life, not a ton but enough to dribble on ones hands. And of course upside down it will eventually leak a little liquid; but I think just about all water bottles will do this, nothing I’ve come across has ever truly been leakproof for little kids but this might be the closest I’ve ever had for my kids.Overall we really like this water bottle and would recommend for taking to school, it ticked all the boxes for me especially for keeping the spout covered and keeping contact with the drinking spout minimal during these Germtastic times we are living in.

The Best Water Bottle for Kids—Hands Down! 💧🌟
I’ve tried countless water bottles for my daughter, but THERMOS is the only brand we stick with! We’ve had several of these in different colors over the years, and they’ve all been fantastic. The durability is unmatched; even though we lost one, we still have five in rotation! These bottles never leak, which is a huge plus for busy days. They’re super easy for my daughter to open and close on her own, which makes them perfect for school and outings. One of the best features is the replacement straws. Instead of buying a whole new bottle, I can just swap out the straw and it feels like new. If you’re in the market for a reliable, long-lasting water bottle, don’t look at any other brand. THERMOS FUNTAINER is the way to go! 🚰👍

Great cups, could be better
We love these cups, the best we have found. We use them at home and for travel, and just bought our second set. We haven't had any issues with leaking, though they can throw some water droplets when the top is popped open. The unicorn design, which my daughter loved so much, scratches easily. The cups have different finishes, so only some of them do this. But the unicorn cup is all scratched up after about a month of use. Very disappointing. My other qualm is they sent us the hearts cup instead of the butterflies we ordered. Still a cute design; not worth returning, these shipping errors happen. Now, this is me speaking to everyone everywhere who makes children's products: PLEASE include more cute designs for boys!!! There is ONE boys' design, the honeybees. All the rest are characters or brands. My son's second cup was a plain solid color, which felt a shame when there's like a dozen cute girls' designs! I thought about getting him one of those, but he is happy with his favorite color green cup. Can we get some woodland animals, a beach or mountain scene, some trucks, something?!

Straw cover keeps the germs away!
I was looking for a new water bottle after our 5 year-old was diagnosed with Celiac disease because our old insulated one required her to touch the straw to flip it up and wasn't really protected. I wanted to make sure she didn't have to wash her hands prior to drinking every time to avoid cross-contamination and this was the perfect solution. The lid flips up really easily and then she just pushes it down to seal it again so the straw is always covered unless she's drinking which I really like in the Kindergarten environment. We don't clean it daily but it's really easy to take apart and get through the straw. We use it with the Inchbug rubber bracelet style labels and it fits great. There are a lot of fun prints so they're easy to keep track of. I also really like that the base has rubber around it so we didn't have to buy a sleeve to stop the loud thudding noise every time she sets it down. This is our first year with both kids in a school environment and we've been really lucky that we've only had one cold in the first quarter. I like to think that this water bottle style contributes to that.

My favorite water bottle for kids
This is my favorite brand of water bottles for kids. I got this one for my 7 month old baby. The silicone straw is gentle on her gums and the straw is narrow enough that the flow of water doesn’t overwhelm her like some other straws we’ve tried. I love the different colors and designs of the funtainers. The only complaint I have is that the straws get chewed up easily if your child likes chewing on straws, and then it causes the lid to leak. The paint also chips easily so i recommend hand washing. And the bottom plastic cap can get loose over time, but doesn’t fall off. Overall a good value and works great.
