Totally Not as described by the seller , not Easy grip , actually no grip at all, It’s mentioned on amazon that each item weighs 220 grams but in fact it weighs merely 165 grams.

I purchased these glass weights primarily to use when making sauerkraut. They arrived in a sturdy box nicely packaged with each weight in its own styrofoam molded space. I actually store them in this same box. The weights themselves are a solid piece of glass with a top knob that is easy to grasp. They fit perfectly into wide mouth Mason jars. They wash easily in the dishwasher. I also used them when making pickled red onions. In addition to using them in the kitchen, they make effective weights to use when cutting out sewing projects. I love it when I can find multiple uses for tools that are both utilitarian and beautifully made.

These weights are awesome! I needed these a long time ago for fermenting. They keep everything under the brine. The handles make it easy to remove them from the jars. I started fermenting peppers for hot sauce. Between these weights & the air locks, everything seems to be progressing wonderfully. I'm so excited to have found these. Especially after comparing prices, these were the best product & the best value. The packaging was designed very well. Each weight was in it's own slot, packed in foam. There is no way these could have been damaged in shipping unless they were run over by a truck. The seller is so very nice to work with. You can't go wrong with these!

So I finally got brave enough to try making my own kimchi, and it came out great. I knew I would be making more. Definitely needed some fermentation weights to keep it safe & yummy. These are a perfect choice. They fit exactly into wide-mouth mason jars, and are super easy to place & remove. They're made out of clear glass, so no problem with anything leaching into my food. They ship in super packaging to prevent any possible damage. And all at a great price. I highly recommend them.

My order came on time. I opened the box pulled one out washed it and use it in a wide mouth jar. Fit great. I did do one thing that may help others. I tied a kitchen string on the knob. Made it so much easier to get out of the jar. Love these. Worth it. Heavy glass. They should hold up well. Exactly what I needed.
