ACDelco 4BA17 Professional Battery Side Terminal to Top Post Adapter

Easy and cheap way to fit a top post battery to a side post configured car. AC Delco, so decent quality. Fitted with zero issues to my 87 El Camino.

AC Delco lead battery adapter. Excellent value. I bought these for my truck as my newer battery is too weak to start the truck but not weak enough to get warranty (?). With these adaptors I was able to use my boat battery so I can still drive my truck while I sort out warranty on a 200$ battery. The threads are made from lead so they are soft, just be careful when installing these adaptors and when threading in the cable bolts and you'll be good to go.

Great product for converting top post battery to a side post for a side post installation usually a GM USA vehicle difficult to find in Australia but Amazon had it. Bring able to use a Top post battery in a Covette allowed the use of the best battery available at a better price than a side post Recommend

Heavy Duty, but will require a 3/8 16 and not 24 as listed. So a course thread bolt. Also a 3/8 16 tap to run in deeper is the key.
