Great product!
Love this product. I was getting my eyebrows dyed at a salon for a good chunk of change, and my stylist told me she couldn't do it anymore because she'd heard of a lawsuit one stylist she knew was facing due to an allergic reaction of some sort. I was disappointed and resorted to exclusively coloring my eyebrows with pencils/markers/eyebrow mascara. Imagine my joy when I found this product on Amazon! And it worked like a charm. I took the advice of many of the people who reviewed here and bought mascara wands which likely contributed to my easy experience with this (the other applicators included seem clumsy.) I didn't use the guards either, just was careful with application (and the mascara wands made that very possible.) I don't think I'll have any problem with it. Remember to leave the first step liquid on your eyebrows or lashes for a few minutes if you want the color to be really dark, or take it off almost immediately (30 seconds or so later) if you'd like them to be a lighter color. I did both my lashes and brows and am well pleased. More with my brows than my lashes, but I think that's just because I am used to the thickening and lengthening effect mascara has -- this just added a pop of extra color to my eyelashes (which might already be pretty dark to begin with.) Anyway, enough rambling! If you're even remotely interested in this product, you won't be disappointed. Just use clean mascara wands to apply!

Not worth the effort
I have light lashes and wish I could just leave the house mascara free. When I found this on Amazon, I had high hopes and wanted to like it. Here's my feedback:On the pro side: it takes only three steps : 1. Add liquid 2. Add gel and 3. Wash it off. It sounds easy but the applicator for the liquid is basically a Q-tip and it was hard to get the product on my eyelashes without getting it on my skin. Besides that, the liquid is clear so it's difficult to tell where it is and how much has been applied . After waiting a couple minutes, I attempted to comb the gel onto my lashes but the gel was getting into my eyes and they were burning, so I placed it on a disposable mascara wand to finish the application. After washing off the product, I was disappointed with the results. The color was weak, my eyes were burning and I had some stained spots on my skin. I would not recommend this product.

Don't spill a drop
I like this because it lasts weeks. No racoon eyes from not getting all your mascara off. Dying your eyelashes doesn't give them that artificial look that mascara gives. Anyone looking would assume you are naturally good looking - even when you wake up in the morning. The vitamin C solution can be a bit of a nuisance, and it is hard to actually "soak" eyelashes. I fail at that I wonder why it is necessary, and, if the manufacturer reads this review, I hope I get an answer. The gel is clear when it goes on, and "develops." Be VERY careful with it. Since you can't see it, you won't know you have dropped some on your counter top until too late. So far I have tried alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, bleach, baking soda, vinegar, scouring powder, and dish soap. The stain is permanent. One stain did come off with all that scrubbing so catching it early is a plus. I am fortunate to have Formica which can tolerate extreme cleaning products. Don't use them on stone. (On skin, it will wear off in a few days with scrubbing and creams.)(Edit: I am still using this. The "wand" to apply is too bulky. Try some lash combs instead. Also, apparently the vitamin C solution is suppose to soften the lashes enough so that the silver nitrate part soaks in a little. Hence, it works best it you go over your lashes several times with it before using the gel for a longer lasting dye job.)

Just Ok
I have really blonde eye lashes and eyebrows and you're unable to see them. I started tinting my eyebrows with men's beard dye a few years ago because it's easy and lasts a couple of weeks. I wanted to try and tint my eye lashes too but of course you can't use that on lashes so I set out to find a natural alternative. Below is my honest review for this product.Firstly, this is NOT easy to use. The papers they give you to put under the lashes don't work at all. I actually took a spooly brush to apply the product and it was much easier but I did get some dye under my eye so I have a small stain.Second, it took three full applications back to back before it took and made my lashes look darker.Thirdly, as soon as I put the second step (the activator gel) near my eye lashes, my eyes started to burn so bad they started watering and I had to rinse and start all over again. So it took me a while to get the process going. This happened several times before I actually was able to complete both steps successfully. Which again, took three full times before I noticed a difference in color. All in all the product worked ok on lashes. I tried it on my eyebrows but didn't like the results as much as when I use the beard dye. It didn't do much at all actually for my eyebrows. It has lasted a couple of weeks on my lashes so far though. Maybe my expectations are too high but I don't think it's worth the process in my opinion.
