I was a little wary about buying this as it had only one review here. Now that I've got it, I feel like I can add another good review to it.It does a sufficient job of protecting the microphone. The soft padding inside fits the blue yeti perfectly, and the outside material feels very durable and solidly-made. It's perfect for protecting the microphone from bumps during transport. The accessories pouch is good to have too. I was able to fit the USB cable, and a couple dongles into it.However, I would not count on it protecting your microphone from drops and water. See that side of the microphone that faces you when you open the case? Yeah, that side is not padded at all. There is a bit of room for movement in that direction if you don't put anything in the accessories pouch.The outside material seems to be water-proof. However, since the zipper cannot be closed in a way that's air tight, water might seep into the case. I'd say you're safe for splashes, but certainly don't walk in the rain with this.I would highly recommend this case to all Yeti owners. This is excellent value for what you get. In case they change the price in the future, this was fourteen when I bought it.

I really appreciate the foam insert provided that allows the Blue Yeti microphone to fit very snugly inside. In doing so, the microphone sits in place and is very protected anywhere that the foam is located. However, I have concerns that the top side is not protected in any way - that is, there is no foam to protect that side of the microphone. I worry that, if the case were to be dropped in the right way, that the microphone could be damaged significantly.As for the quality of the case, it feels sturdy and the zippers feel like they are good quality. The little pocket on the inside of the case is also great for holding the cases for the Blue Yeti.Overall, would recommend!

As others have said, the one side isn't padded inside the case. It's not the end of the world, but would have been nice to not have to pad with additional foam.The pouch compartment is kinda nice for cords etc but not super worth the tradeoff of padding.Mostly just got this as more of a dust protector when not using my second Yeti.The existing foam fit the mic perfect though, I will say.Better than nothing, for sure.If using for traveling/moving around a bunch, get additional foam/padding from a dollar store or craft store just to be safe.

I was so excited to receive my microphone case this evening. But was extremely disappointed to find that the sponge that holds the microphone in place was missing. I think they forgot to pack it? I have a flight on Monday for work and was hoping I could use this so I could transport my mic with me. I guess I'm going to have to "McGyver" it into place and hope for the best on the flight!

It has an appropriate thickness and a nice pouch for cables. I think the only con is that the foam of the shape of the mic is not fully cut. Maybe they leave it there to preserve but I had to be careful to do the final cut. Overall, I recommend it even to keep the mic safe out of your desk.
