This commode chair is lightweight and easy to use. The height is adjustable, so it works well for tall men like my father. It is sturdy, yet folds up easily in case you need to take it on a trip where you might not have access to an ADA accessible room. Overall, I would highly recommend this chair.

Bought this with the commode liners for very ill family member. It was easy to assemble and to take care of waste. A good alternative when you are too weak to go far from your bed. The frame of this is strong and durable and did just fine with a person of 200 lbs. A safe alternative to have on hand. Weight of commode itself is fine, easy to move about for 1 person.

My Alzheimer's-afflicted husband was ALWAYS wanting to use the toilet in our small, one bathroom apartment! If I went into the bathroom, he instantly followed me- demanding that I LEAVE! Life was getting tense ( as you may imagine).I saw this item, and put it in my BEDROOM. WHAT a relief! it is SO sturdy, SO easy to use, and has definitely saved him from going to a memory care unit! A necessity that I ordered. The wife insisted on the less expensive model. It was easy to assemble and to regulate height.It will be fine for her needs, but seems lightly constructed considering my size/weight.

This is the second one I have purchased. The first one I purchased has been used for every camping trip and after I had surgery (and I keep it with my camping gear).My home office is in the attic of my 100 year old house and there is no plumbing up there, so this new one has made my life so much easier! I know this might sound lazy, but the stairs are treacherous to my attic room and I drink coffee, tea and water all day long. I have a tiny bladder, and If I braved those stairs 30 times a day, my knees would need replacement! This is so convenient to use and clean daily on my long work days. Not to mention, in an emergency situation (earthquake or other natural disaster), this is SO necessary!The best features are: the price, its ability to be folded up and conveniently stored away (IKEA sells square, flat opaque zippered bags that fit this commode perfectly and has a handle!), and its adjustability (I am short and this lowers to the perfect height). Also, it is sturdy and allows for the toilet paper roll where the front snaps into the handle/arm rest. Best value and lasts!

I so appreciated the fact that this was easy and quick to assemble. I was trying to get everything ready for my wife's surgery recovery and it helped that I could assemble this quickly and it ready for her. It's worked great, and is doubling between a portable toilet and shower chair. The bucket is easy to empty and wash. The side handles are sturdy.

This commode is light enough for me to move around, no problem. I got it for my 95 yr. old mom to use over the toilet. We have an ADA height toilet, but it was still difficult for her to stand and transfer to her transport chair. We remove the bucket, but leave the splash shield. Works well. Easy to assemble. Added safety and comfort for mom.
