A+ but Could be heavier for Salt water fishing
Nowadays, at least in the Delaware surf..the problem is not the luresIt is the lack of fish...I like Rapala...BUTI wish it was a little heavier/ bigger for Salt water....at least for surf casting

Good for shore fishing
Caught a 6 lb Jack Cravalle off the beach. I get lots of hits and catches with this saltwater lure.

well built
I get a good chuckle from reviews thinking this lure is no good because they didn't catch fish with it. Well, neither did I but it's still getting 5 stars because it seems to be well built and did put up with a good does of abuse when I accidentally didn't secure the hook to the rod and took off down the highway in my Jeep after leaving the beach. The poor thing flopped and banged around for a good 10 miles but was still in fine shape. Give it a try, there is a fish out there who will find it interesting.

great for saltwater
Used this lure for the first time today and landed a Spanish mackerel and 2 king mackerel casting into bait pods. Just came back to order some more.Update: I've used the blue sardine for years and have never had a more productive lure for gulf coast saltwater fishing. Whether I'm trolling for King mackerel or casting into bait pods. I definitely recommend using a metal leader with it though, Spanish mackerel will cut your line going for it like scissors. I've caught many other fish species on it as well.
