8" in Wall Subwoofer 150W Easy Install, Paintable Grill IWS8

After reviewing other models and sizes this one made the most sense. Received this OSD IWS8 inch subwoofer speaker in February 2020, this speaker was installed nicely in the lower wall of my home and works in conjunction with my whole house ceiling speakers, this speaker is wired in parallel with another 8 inch active sub woofer that is on the other side of the house to create a balance low end respond, it is driven with the OSD SMP-100 sub amp that is wired to a 4 channel speaker switch to balance the impedance of all the speakers, when driven these speakers produce a deep solid bass that help to shape the sound nicely with the ceiling speakers even at a low volume, I am very happy with this speaker and would recommend it to anyone that is thinking of purchasing it for a whole house setup. I've had some seriously expensive speakers and this puts out crisp clear dialogue. I love how it sounds and was an excellent addition to my theater.

The ceiling had been pre-wired for speakers but after starting to open it up we discovered there was not enough room for the rectangular speakers we had bought. These square ones were perfect, and the sound is great - they are rear speakers in a 5.1 setup.

These speakers are a great value. I installed six of them over five years ago in my home and they performed excellent. I ordered this pair to add in my mud/craft room and they sound just as good as the others. If you’re looking for audiophile quality speakers these are not them. These sound very good for listening to music throughout your home. The bass is decent along with good mids and better than average highs. I wasn’t looking for audio perfection in these speakers but I did want good quality sound and they delivered just that. I matched them with a speaker switch so I can turn on or off which ever ones I like. 👍🏼🇺🇸
