It is small, but is expected when I got it. Feels sturdy and well made. The locking mechanism is not hard to lock/unlock and can be done with 1 hand. Honestly kind of fun to fidget and lock/unlock it back and forth. I use mine to clip things to my backpack and the locking gives me peace of mind that whatever is hooked won’t go away or someone can’t secretly take something off my backpack.

This clip is awesome. Super sturdy and spring strength is strong. I love it has the security lock it it so it just won’t open which is genius. But you can easily unlock and remove with no hassle. And it’s the perfect size for my magnet water bottle bag.

The carabiner was very small from my initial impressions in the listing. Here are some quick comparison shots for its size both in inches and cm. as well as some US coins. I've never owned an s-biner before, but until now it has proven itself of a worthy little utility tool to me. It clips onto my pouch and easily clips to my belt loop if I choose to, as well as my keys. The overall build is very solid, and for the price it doesn't feel cheap anywhere at all. The one gripe I have is with the locking mechanism. This being my first biner, it took a minute to fully understand how it works. It uses a little sliding mechanism to lock into place and prevent the latch from opening. It's decent when in use, but it requires a bit of extra force to open it. Normally that wouldn't be an issue, but considering how small the lock really is, I have to pinch it to get a good grip and then push down. Sometimes it doesn't budge until wiggle it enough to fit in. It's really a pain sometimes. But overall it's pretty reliable. Just expect it to get awkward fiddling about with the lock.

These are awesome for keys or any other small accessories that you want to keep securely attached to your person or to a backpack/etc. I've had this for several years and the carabiner gates are still working perfectly even after years of daily use. The lock helps make sure my keys don't fall off or come unclipped if I'm moving around a lot.

this “S-Biner” carabiner from Nits-Ize is very good, very affordable and very sleek. It is locking which is very handy and very delightful. I highly recommend this because it’s so cheap. You really can’t go wrong with something that is this inexpensive and it is very cool because it quickly connects to your belt loop and when your belt loop has your keys on it. It is much easier to get your keys then if you have to rifle through your crowded cluttered pant pocket or purse for the ladies. This thing rocks. Also, it is locking and the locking functionality is very fun to play with.

It's lightweight, and the perfect size #3. Had similar items in wish list and stumbled upon this one not even understanding or considering the locking feature. Have handled other Nite IZE clip carabiners so since it was under three (3) bucks, put it in my cart. After handling it I can say it is better than expected. From experience I knew the size and weight were going to be optimal. But what really floats my boat, is the locking spring clips. There is a slide bead (collar) on each opening arm. If the bead is near the hinge point it interferes with the main body of the key chain and can not open, whatsoever. However, if you simply slide the bead (collar) away from the hinge point, it opens easily. This can be seen in one of the photos where one side is locked and the other has a 1/2 inch bolt in the smallest part of the opening. The thing operates like a tiny lock. Since I minimize my in pocket keys to a single ring this for me will be external grouping of small ring bound items such as ancillary key groupings, bottle openers and the like. Or going way back to the 70's I could see this as the perfect fixture to lock a "sierra cup" to the outside of my pack. Thinking forward now, securing my keys inside a surf bag or off road hydrator bag. All would be fantastic applications when a locking attachment is available.

Love the slide lock feature. Had issues with the non locking biner opening up unintentionally and dropping my bottle or my helmet. The security gives me confidence when slinging my stuff around when i go about my work or when I travel.
