YOU OR YOUR THE ONE THAT WILL RECIVE THIS AS A GIFT WILL BE DISAPPOINTED! Traditionally we gift Mac covered chocolates for the holidays in Hawaii. Well opening one of these boxes for my household as a treat was more of a disappointment. They still have two Mac nuts in each piece of chocolate. Most of the pieces were looking pathetically small and is flatter. And most pieces had Mac nuts that we cut in halves or with a quarter size crumb. Your biting into more chocolate and much less of that crunch you’d expect…I’M NOT EXAGGERATING! You’d have to express a little more aloha if you give this out to love ones as this will not show much appreciation of the heart. Sorry Mauna Loa company I hope you will be able to go back to the old quality.

I bought these chocolate covered macadamia nuts as a gift. I had purchased some for myself when I visited Hawaii, and was so happy to find them on Amazon, so many years later. They are as tasty as I remember, and purchasing them in bulk is very economical. I gave one to each of my family in a basket full of kitchen essentials, spices, goodies and a new cookbook. Everyone enjoyed it.

This product has very good chocolate but very few macadamia nuts. What nuts it has are very small pieces, no halves and certainly no whole nuts. The picture is misleading since it shows whole nuts but there’s none to be found. If you’re looking for a macadamia nut experience you had better go elsewhere.
