Review: Good quality - The quality of the books is great and the content is even better 😸 Review: This incredible YA mystery novel is an absolute gem, and I have to say, it's my personal opinion that it surpasses even the highly acclaimed "A Good Girl's Guide to Murder." Set in the captivating backdrop of a boarding school called Ellingham Academy, this book takes you on a thrilling journey through a dual timeline. ✔The story revolves around a cold case of a double murder and an unsolved mystery that leaves readers questioning whether the third person involved is still alive or if they met a tragic fate. Ellingham Academy itself is renowned for its unique approach to education and the infamous cold case that has intrigued people for decades. Our main character, Stevie, is an absolute true crime enthusiast (just like i am with this book!) and dreams of becoming a detective. She enrolls in Ellingham Academy with the sole purpose of unraveling the secrets behind the cold case. As she navigates her way through the demanding school environment and gets to know her fellow housemates the inventor, the novelist, the actor, the artist, and the jokester - the unexpected happens. The notorious figure known as Truly Devious makes a shocking return with another murder, turning the focus away from the cold case and onto the identity of the killer. What sets this book apart is the relatability of the characters, especially our main protagonist. Stevie is someone readers can easily connect with, thanks to her passion for true crime and her determination to solve the mysteries surrounding Ellingham Academy. The dual timeline, set in the 1930s and the present, introduces a diverse cast of characters who are relatable in their own unique ways. This makes it incredibly easy for readers to form a connection with them and become fully immersed in the stone

the best thing about this is that the books are floppy paperbacks and not the stiff ones.
