Can you connect two strips together with the supplied power box plug?

the lights i ordered did not come with a power supply. the lights i ordered were premium 2835LED 16.4 feet long, and use 44 watts, or 2.7 watts per foot. i don't know what you have for a power supply, but on the power supply, you will find a label that specifies how watts the power supply will supply. stay under that number. for example, if the power supply is rated for 45 watts, and your lights use 40 watts, you are good. if the power supply label says 12VDC, 4 amps, then 12 multiplied 4 = 48 watts; make sure your lights are under that 48 watts, this is what I used, a 48 watt power supply driving my 16 foot long LED strip, great! if each strip is 44 watts, then 2 connected together will require a power supply bigger than 88 watts. if you are asking this question, i assume you did not order such a big power supply, so the answer is no. but if you ordered two light strips and they come with two power supplies, then connect a power supply to each end of your 32 foot long LED light strip and you will be happy

what is the width of the strip

The specs for Luma5 say 8mm. I purchased the 24.6ft 900LED 4000K version and they measure... 10.2mm. Either the specs are entirely wrong or the width varies for longer lengths or more LEDs to accommodate the extra current required.

How many 16 foot 3528 strips can be connected in series.

AlL LED strips have a length limit before they will over load/heat and fail. And they are all different. I don't have the answer to this question specifically, but others have alluded that's its simply a limit of the driver wattage, which is an inaccurateand incomplete answer. The true answer is the Manufacturer's length limit OR wattage capacity of the driver, whichever comes first.

I want to connect 2 of these, actual power 44W or 48 W each, with one dimmer/switch in my van. What dimmer do you recommend?

You will want a dimmer designed for LED use and for a 12-24 volt vehicle power. Search on LED dimmer 12v and there are a number of options in Amazon that may work. Can't really recommend one over another as your installation will drive the best solution. There is an in-line version, a panel mount version or a button mount version that could be a good fit for your van. The LED lights when dimmed will tend to flicker on you as the lower voltage being supplied will affect the LED illumination. I've found I can go to around 1/2 power and get good functioning on mine. After that I start to get too much flickering. It becomes a matter of personal preference.
