I wouldn't let the price fool you.
It's cheap and pretty darn useful too. I based my purchase around other reviews thinking perhaps there had to be some flaws, but I'm happy with it. Of course, it's probably not as versatile or well built as a skilled craftsmen has come to expect, but I bought this for cutting through a brass camera filter that had gotten badly stuck on my lens. It performed fantastically, but at this point will probably spend months or even years stored away, which is why I don't need a more expensive hacksaw. I don't mean to slight it, I wouldn't know a good hacksaw from a bad hacksaw, but the next time I do need it, I'll be not only glad to have it, I'll also enjoy using it. The blade was great, cut through brass real well and allowed me to be really precise which was definitely required for such a delicate project.

Useful tool
Bought these as Christmas stocking stuffers for the guys in the family. They were on sale at a great price. The quality is exceptional.

Good Mini Hacksaw But Handle Could Be More Comfortable
I'm pretty pleased with this mini hacksaw. It works OK, though the handle could be a little bit easier to hold. I think for most cutting jobs I'd probably prefer to use a full sized hacksaw, but if you need a mini one like this one, this one is pretty good. It does come with a blade, so you are ready to go without needing to purchase a blade separately. I hope you found this review helpful. On the other hand, if you did not find this review helpful, I’d be interested in hearing why, so that I may attempt to edit it and make it more helpful to both you and others. If you leave a comment on the review, suggesting how it would be more helpful, I promise to respond to your comment, and to attempt to incorporate your suggestion in my review, if it is at all possible for me to do so. My goal is to write reviews that help people, as I have been helped by the reviews others have written. Thanks!

BEST MINI HACKSAW I HAVE EVER HAD!!!
Over the years I have had a number of small hacksaws like this but they all ended up breaking after a few uses. For the FIRST time I feel like I have a real tool in my hands now that I have this Lenox Mini Hacksaw. The size is fantastic for the smaller jobs that a large hacksaw just won't do and it is incredibly strong even though it is so light weight. I have used this over and over again since I got it and I would recommend this hacksaw to ANYONE who has the need for one in their tool kit, which of course we all do. Buy it and be DELIGHTED like I am!

Made in China
Unlike all the other tools I own made by Lenox, this saw is made in China.

Every hunter should have one
Works great for the butchering process. I bought stainless steel blades for mine. It's held up well to years of use and abuse. Easy to clean. I'm sure it would work just fine for small home construction projects as well.

Perfect Size for Apartment Dwellers
I've needed a smaller hacksaw for minor jobs like cutting door draft seals and accordion closet door panels to size. The one-off type jobs require something small yet not junky. I only have room for a mid-sized toolbox and don't want tools spilling over into junk drawers because the toolbox becomes overstuffed with contractor-sized tools. This hacksaw is the size I've been looking for. The handle has a good heft and feel although I suspect the blade might have to be replaced more often than something larger and of higher quality, but for me it's a small price to pay in order to be able to stash this away with no hassle once I'm done with a minor task.

Useful little saw gets the job done!
The door broke off our mailbox and I had to replace the entire mailbox. I couldn’t get the old (17 year old) mailbox off the post because the screws were rusted. I used WD40 and every tool I had to try to get the screws off. I couldn’t grasp the nuts with a socket wrench or pliers. I couldn’t get a firm grasp with my fingertips so the screws just turned but wouldn’t come out. A standard size saw was too big so I couldn’t reach the screws. I ordered this small saw and cut right through all of the rusted screws and got the old mailbox off the post in minutes! Awesome find, I’m sure I’ll use it for many other projects!! Mrs. Eric B.
