Kind of works
It works but you need to hold in place and press down with some pressure. Wash by hand and dry with towel immediately. Do not allow to air dry because it will rust very quickly! Not dishwasher-friendly due to rust issue.

Wooden holder not a good insulator
Only issue is the wooden handle is not a very good insulator and gets very hot. You will still need a glove to hold it with
