Synced up to the clock with no issues.

This was a replacement for a damaged transmitter. It synced immediately with the receiver, even though the receiver was at least 15 years old. Easiest replacement of any electronic item I've ever dealt with.

What company still uses USPS to handle shipping!?No wonder shipping takes so long.This is a replacement for a unit that simply stopped syncing to the base station. The new one did sync up, but it took overnight to get there.

My original outdoor temperature sensor stopped working, but my clock was working fine. I called customer service, for my Ambient Weather Station ws8400, and they showed me where to buy an outdoor replacement sensor. I put batteries in, went to my clock and paired on channel 1, and placed it outside and now the outside temp displays on my ceiling like it used to! Completely happy!

We really like our Ambient Weather projection clock with its indoor and outdoor temperature feature. We were unaware that the outside sensor had fallen off its mount and was covered with snow for a week or so before it quit working. Unfortunately water had gotten into the sensor unit so I order a replacement sensor from Amazon. Meanwhile, in a "What the Hell" moment, I decided to remove the batteries and place the remote sensor in a closed container sitting on top of a desiccant tub from the dollar store. Two days later, after I had already gotten the replacement unit, I removed the waterlogged unit from the dry environment, replaced the batteries and it started working just fine. I now have a ready replacement surplus senor unit, but would recommend to anyone that has an electrical device that has been exposed to water that they try the desiccant dryer trick for a few days before ordering a replacement.

Have you used this product for years my sensor that I had went bad I found this online ordered it came within a few days and connected to my temperature gauge inside with no problem awesome

The other sending unit got wet and would not transmit any longer this one works fine

After the purchase of the initial weather station and setting up the system the transmitter failed (stopped sending a signal) a second transmitter was purchased from Amazon on November 3, 2020. The transmitter was brought inside of the home during the months we were away to ensure that the ambient weather would not affect the transmitter. Upon our return in December 2021 we found that the newest transmitter had failed again. I contacted Ambient weather and they immediately said that there was no option for a return due to the second transmitter being 30-days beyond the one (1) year warranty. This is ridiculous as these transmitters are unreliable beyond one (1) year and the buyer will have to spend another $30 to have outside ambient weather recorded. I was also handed a line of BS stating that because I live in Florida that the weather affects the ability of the transmitter to last. No where in the Ambient Weather warranty documentation did it state that environmental conditions limit the life of the transmitter which is designed to be outdoors. BUYER BEWARE and I recommend that you steer clear of this organization and all of their products as the warranty is not designed to assist the buyer, but rather Ambient Weather. They are completely unfair when it comes to reaching a reasonable agreement when a failure takes place with a product that is designed to be placed outdoors and in the elements where it is intended to perform. DO NOT BUY FROM AMBIENT AIR IF YOU WANT RELIABILITY BUILT INTO THE PRODUCT!!!
