This casing will damage your GoPro !!! The construction is ok, and initially I thought it was a good deal... However, the Press buttons on the casing that putt the camera on and start recording have VERY SMALL and THIN steel points pressing onto your GoPro's rubber buttons. This will 100% , over time, cause a puncture in your GoPros's buttons.... I will keep these as I use a remote and do not need these buttons. I will put epoxy glue on the buttons to ensure i do not forget about this.... So please be warned....

J’ai acheté cette coque étanche pour ma GoPro Hero 8 et j’en suis très satisfait. La coque est solide, se ferme bien et inspire confiance. Je l’ai utilisée pour des activités en mer, aucune infiltration d’eau à signaler après plusieurs essaies La caméra s’adapte parfaitement à l’intérieur et les boutons restent faciles à utiliser. La qualité des vidéos sous l’eau est très bonne. Pour le prix, c’est un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande sans hésiter pour ceux qui veulent protéger leur GoPro lors d’activités aquatiques ou de plongée.

Used on an 8-day live-aboard scuba diving trip with almost all dives down to 30 m at some point. It survived. I was able to open in between dives, check out some footage, and close it back up without trapping any moisture or having issues with fogging. I was careful and did use the little moisture squares, but it was a flawless experience!

Great product - fits my GoPro8 perfectly. I use this when mounted on my motorcycle helmet chin - protects my camera from rain, bugs, rocks etc. I especially like the silver buttons (on/off/record) which are far more effective than the GoPro8 buttons themselves (especially since I use moto gloves) as they offer much greater "tactile feel" when starting/stopping recordings. Additionally the wing'd tip screw is perfect - much easier to tighten / loosen. No need for a separate wrench or Allen key. Highly recommended. UPDATE: After a few months usage in very low depth water, I've noticed fog forming inside the plastic box. As such, because the GoPro8 is waterproof (to 10 meters) I'll remove the camera from the box for filming. Then, when completely dry, I'll add back into the box prior to mounting back on my helmet, in order to prevent fogging. No biggie. Apparently this box allows a 60 meter depth - I'm no scuba diver so I cannot comment on that. I presume fog will still be an issue - but if you film quickly underwater it may be manageable. ...
