The set comes with an instruction booklet. The booklet has suggested exercises in it. There are lateral exercises like lateral shuffle, 2 out 1 in, 2 in 2 out. There are also hurdle exercises like lateral hurdle hop, hurdle drill, and lateral hurdle hop. The booklet includes a diagram showing you the step patterns to use, as well as a text description of how to perform them.To learn ladder drills, you may want to look into using a program like Beachbody's Asylum, which teaches ladder exercises.

Q: can I use this for my dog who is developing hip dysplasia? He is a large dog?

It is not recommended for dogs.
